It's so hydrating! After applying, there's no heavy or suffocating feeling on the skin. As I apply it, I notice it contains shimmer, which made me wonder why a pore-controlling product would have that. I expected it to improve pores and uneven texture, but it doesn't seem to do much, and I'm not sure about oil control either. I think what I was looking for is more of a primer balm, so I plan to test one of those in the future.

I trusted Code Glokolor and Daiso's reputation for affordability, but this was a big disappointment. Compared to my previous Etude Pore Primer, it doesn't control oil at all. It only feels slightly powdery right after application. I wore this to work and my skin was an oil slick by morning! It doesn't help makeup adhere better, fails to control sebum, and doesn't blur imperfections. While the other base in this line at least brightens, I can't figure out what this one actually does. I regret buying it. Just another useless product taking up space. If you have oily skin, skip this and go for the balm-type primer from the same line. That one's the real deal.
