I initially used this in winter and wasn't impressed - it emphasized my dead skin cells, and since I have a warmer skin tone, the 22 shade (which only comes in pink undertones) didn't quite match. But when I tried it again recently, I fell in love! First off, it's semi-matte but feels incredibly hydrating when applied. The coverage is also impressive... How can it be moisturizing, have good coverage, AND be semi-matte? It's seriously amazing. The sponge has a unique shape, which helps it apply more evenly compared to other cushions. Even though I store it upright in my bag (which can cause the product to pool), it only dispenses where you press - that's just genius. Do yourself a favor and grab this one! It does emphasize dead skin cells a bit, so it's a bit tricky to use in winter. Use it in summer! Just make sure to exfoliate well before applying. The coverage is seriously amazing. It's truly a holy grail cushion that I absolutely adore. There's barely any darkening too, which is fantastic! I love how moisturizing it feels and how well it works. There's honestly nothing bad to say about it. I have zero complaints. I'm in love with April Skin! This product is especially great for those with dry skin.
