As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've struggled with mineral sunscreens clogging my pores and causing tiny bumps all over (seems like both zinc and titanium don't agree with me). Chemical sunscreens tend to make my skin feel hot, itchy, red, and cause white, fish roe-like blemishes. The ingredients in chemical sunscreens seem to be quite irritating for me. When applied, you can feel the richness to the point where your skin looks quite dewy. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, in summer, this provides enough moisture that I could finish my skincare routine with just a serum before applying this sunscreen. Also, it tends to pill when combined with certain incompatible formulas, like some moisturizers. You'll need to be careful if you're planning to apply makeup over it. Remember to patch test any new sunscreen, especially if you have sensitive skin. It's also a good idea to layer your skincare products from thinnest to thickest consistency for better absorption and to minimize pilling.
