The irritation is more severe than expected, making it difficult to use continuously. I typically wear heavy makeup only twice a week, so I usually just use foam cleanser. On makeup days, I would use this for the first cleanse, followed by foam for the second. Despite this limited use, I still developed small bumps on my cheeks and a large pimple on my forehead with continued use. Please use with caution.

I found this cleansing milk at E-mart when I was looking for one. It was the only option available, so I bought it and used two bottles. However, starting from the second bottle, I noticed blemishes appearing on my skin.

Compared to other cleansing milks, I felt this one had better cleansing effectiveness. But with that came some irritation. Even with gentle rolling motions, the thin skin areas like my forehead and around the eyes would become red, requiring intense soothing after cleansing.

I've tried various types of milk cleansers, but this one made my face feel too tingly. On the first day, it was just during cleansing, but from the second day onwards, my face felt constantly tingly, like a peppermint sensation, and red spots appeared. This is the first time I've experienced this with a milk cleanser. I bought it after reading reviews, but I didn't expect it to be this intense.

I found it convenient that just one pump was enough to cover my entire face. Two pumps turned out to be too much.

Instead of applying this product directly with a cotton pad, I prefer to massage a small amount onto my face for about 30 seconds, then wipe it off with a dry cotton pad before rinsing with lukewarm water. I find this method more effective in removing residual makeup and sebum. Following up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse leaves my skin feeling extra clean. On days when I'm particularly concerned about my pores or excess oil, I like to place a warm towel on my face before cleansing. This helps open up the pores, enhancing the cleansing effectiveness.

The downside is that its cleansing power isn't particularly strong. It's fine for light, everyday makeup, but it struggles with BB creams, tints, and especially waterproof mascara - these don't come off completely in one go. Rubbing repeatedly to remove stubborn makeup can irritate the skin, and I often end up using a separate makeup remover, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, there's a slight slippery residue left after rinsing, which some might find uncomfortable. I usually follow up with a second cleanse, so it's not an issue for me, but those who prefer a one-step cleansing routine might have mixed feelings about this.

As someone with oily skin, I'm always cautious when choosing cleansing products. However, I'm quite satisfied with the Neutrogena Deep Cleansing Emulsion. It's gentle yet effective in cleansing, which I really appreciate. Being an emulsion type, it glides smoothly over the skin without causing irritation. What I love most is how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after washing, without any tightness. I've been using this product consistently since April 17th.

The emulsion formula absorbs quickly as you apply it, so the product disappears fast. I found it inconvenient to keep squeezing out more to continue application.

My skin type is combination and quite sensitive, so double cleansing or using harsh cleansers usually leaves my skin dry and irritated. However, this product caused no irritation or blemishes, and its cleansing effectiveness was quite good.

If you have slight blemishes, it might cause a burning sensation. So you need to apply it gently and massage carefully.

The cleansing effectiveness is fantastic! It even removes eyeliner incredibly well.

I haven't found any downsides yet, but I'm wondering if this product will have the same issue I had with my p:rem cleansing emulsion. The p:rem one comes in a 300ml bottle, and when it fell, the pump broke off, so I've been using it without a lid.

Cleansing power: It's fantastic how it removes makeup as thoroughly as a cleansing cream, leaving my skin spotless.

Texture: At a beauty shop, they recommended an emulsion-type cleanser over a cream-based one for my dry skin, so I had been using p:rem's emulsion cleanser. While p:rem's cleansing emulsion is gentle and protects my dry skin, there's always a slight feeling of residue. However, Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Emulsion doesn't have that heaviness I felt with p:rem's, which is great.

Of course, with p:rem's cleansing emulsion, you don't need to use a cleansing foam afterwards. After using it, rinsing with water doesn't leave my skin feeling tight at all - probably one of p:rem's strong points. But I'm used to using foam, so unless I'm too tired, I feel more comfortable finishing with a cleansing foam.

In that sense, Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Emulsion also doesn't require a follow-up with cleansing foam. When I remove my makeup with Neutrogena's cleansing emulsion, my skin feels so smooth that I wonder if it's always been this soft. But due to my habit of wanting to feel extra clean, I still use a cleansing foam afterwards, and my face doesn't feel tight at all.

Considering the price point as well, I'm giving my vote to Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Emulsion.

For heavy makeup, I recommend following up with a second cleanse.

I'm already on my third bottle of this product. Despite being gentle, it gives a thorough cleansing sensation, so I always use it when I'm wearing light makeup. My skin barrier is usually weak, so I only do a single cleanse, but this doesn't cause any blemishes and works great.

I've stopped using foam cleansers. Instead, I use this product twice, followed by a mist and then wipe everything clean with a cotton pad.

There's nothing negative to say. I'm completely satisfied and plan to use every last drop carefully.

In fact, the gentle formula makes me want to double cleanse - I use it twice, followed by a quick swipe with a cotton pad and mist for that extra clean feeling. I'm so satisfied that I'm writing this detailed review, which I rarely do! My skin is combination type, and now that I'm in my 40s, I sometimes experience deep dryness and irritation. I think anyone with similar skin concerns or even those without specific issues would be very pleased with this product!

The price is great and the cleansing power is excellent, so I haven't found any downsides yet.
