I expected a citrus scent since it's a tangerine vitamin serum, but I was surprised by how artificial it smells. It's not citrusy at all - more like the scent of toilet paper rolls or air freshener. It smells quite synthetic.

Hydration:
As it's a vitamin product, it doesn't provide enough hydration on its own. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely need to add more hydrating and moisturizing steps to your routine.

Brightening effect:
To be honest, I didn't notice much of a brightening effect. I didn't see any improvement in my complexion or reduction in blemishes.

At first, when I applied it directly, the floral 3-ply toilet paper scent was very strong, and when I checked the manufacturer, it was a cosmetic product made by Yuhan-Kimberly. I was really surprised that the toilet paper scent came from the serum. I'm quite sensitive to fragrances, so I don't understand why they would include this particular scent among the many options. It's a product for the face, after all. 
For dry skin, using this product alone in the middle step is not enough - it doesn't provide enough moisture. It might be okay for oily skin types, but I don't see a reason to buy and use this product. It's not a bad product, but it seems to lack competitiveness compared to other serums.

This is a review of a product I received as part of a survey panel. I usually apply serum ampoules directly without using a toner or skin. After receiving this product, I started using it as the first step in my routine. Although it is a serum, the texture is similar to a soothing gel, and it absorbs quickly when applied. The finish has a bit more stickiness than I expected. As this is a brightening product, I noticed a slight improvement in my uneven skin tone with consistent use (without changing any other skincare). So the effects were not non-existent, though I didn't have high expectations. Overall, it was not as bad as I had anticipated.
