It feels incredibly lightweight, as if you're not wearing anything at all! -I originally intended to use it on my neck and limbs, but it's so easy to apply on the face. It's especially non-sticky and low in oil, so I haven't experienced many blemishes. I've just been using it on my face continuously. In the past, even decent sunscreens would always leave me feeling uncomfortable, cause eye irritation, or lead to itching and blemishes... -It seems to contain some powder ingredients! After applying a very light gel cream and this sunstick, when I touch my face later, it feels so powdery that I wonder if I've applied powder. However, if you've applied a quite moisturizing cream underneath, the sunstick alone won't make your skin feel extremely powdery. -I bought it without much expectation, but now I understand why reviews mentioned it was satisfying for golfers or parents who dislike stickiness! Personally, I loved that I could apply it freely without getting sunscreen on my hands. I was even more satisfied that I could easily and thoroughly apply it to curved areas, even around the eyes. -After using it daily for about two weeks, I'm most satisfied that it didn't cause any particular blemishes. I didn't experience any eye irritation either! It might run out quickly if you reapply several times, but I'm still satisfied since you can buy it for around 15,000 won during sales. I think I'll stick with this for this summer!
Cons-However, I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer slightly moisturizing, creamy sunscreens, or to people with dry skin who dislike the powdery, slightly rough feeling. Also, if you apply heavy skincare products underneath, the sunstick might pill a bit as you apply it by rubbing. I hardly used it when wearing makeup, but I think it's a great product for applying carelessly on bare skin.
TipThis sunstick appears to be a popular choice for those seeking a lightweight, non-greasy sun protection option. Its powdery finish and ease of application make it particularly suitable for oily or combination skin types, as well as for active outdoor use. The product seems to be gentle enough for sensitive skin, with users reporting no irritation or blemishes. However, those with dry skin or who prefer a more moisturizing sunscreen might find it less suitable. The stick format allows for easy, mess-free application, which is especially convenient for reapplication throughout the day or for use in hard-to-reach areas. While it may need frequent reapplication due to its lightweight nature, its affordable price point during sales makes it a cost-effective option for daily sun protection.
