Easy to control the amount
While the amount control is subjective, I found it easier to dispense the right amount compared to liquid types with very narrow openings.

Note: It may take some time to get used to it!

I haven't noticed much difference in hair shedding, and while I'm not sure about the crown area, I feel like my part looks a bit fuller. Still, to really see significant results, I'll need to keep using the product consistently.

Feel and effectiveness

Instead of using a large amount at once, it's better to divide the scalp into sections and apply a moderate amount multiple times.

The container I received had a rattling sound at the bottom button, as if it were loose. It's disappointing to see poor quality packaging for a product that isn't cheap.

2. Quick absorption without causing blemishes
My sensitive scalp usually reacts quickly to new shampoos, but fortunately, I had no problems during the usage period.
I applied two pumps of the ampoule (as shown in the first photo - you can see the amount when held upside down) to half of my scalp, then another two pumps to the remaining area. It absorbed quickly without feeling sticky, which was great.

3. Improved root volume
While not a dramatic change, I noticed that after using Ourdem's Boost Ampoule, my hair didn't fall flat as easily.

While the application feels nice, some might find it inconvenient to open the cap and then adjust the CLOSE/OPEN mechanism at the base.

On busy mornings or tired evenings when we want everything quick and simple (but still effective), this extra step might occasionally feel like a hassle.

On weekends or work-from-home days, I sometimes don't wash my hair during the day after showering the night before. Impressively, there's no noticeable greasiness even when going out. Of course, as it approaches 24 hours, it becomes apparent and needs washing - for scalp health too!

The massage ball applicator encourages a more thorough application rather than just a quick spread before blow-drying. You get the added benefit of some scalp stimulation too. The ball nozzle design definitely makes you work the product along the part line a few extra times.

While two weeks isn't enough to see dramatic results like filling in thinning areas, my main goal is preventative care, so I'm satisfied with how it feels so far!

Usage experience: As one of The Hwahae Testers, I've used this product about 7 times (I forgot sometimes... oops!). I'm quite satisfied with the experience!

When applied to the scalp, it gives an instant cooling sensation, and the texture isn't heavy at all. Even though I applied it all over my scalp, I didn't experience any greasiness or flatness. Regarding its claim to "prevent hair loss," while I didn't see a dramatic decrease in shedding, I definitely noticed less hair falling out! It wasn't just my imagination - I was surprised to see noticeably fewer hairs on the floor after drying and cleaning than usual. This made me realize how important scalp care really is!

Packaging convenience: I'm very pleased! This was my first time properly using a scalp care product, and I found it so convenient. You just need to press the button at the bottom a few times, and as shown in the third photo, the applicator fills up with ample serum. The best part is you don't get product on your hands - just roll the ball applicator for even distribution. Super easy!

Scent: This is a bit of a downside. It has a strong fragrance - almost like a cologne or the kind of aftershave my dad used to wear. The intense scent was a bit disappointing for me as I prefer unscented or lightly scented products. There's also a slight alcohol smell which I'm not fond of.

Recommended for: I highly recommend this to people like me who hate getting essence or hair products on their hands when applying.
