I was worried since it's a matte foundation, but it's not drying at all. It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel, yet sets to a beautifully powdery finish. If you dislike dryness but love a matte complexion, I highly recommend this. However, as someone with combination dehydrated skin and an oily T-zone, I noticed the matte effect was slightly less pronounced in those areas.
ConsArmani foundations are known for darkening, and this one is no exception. I've included a comparison photo showing the foundation right after application and after 3 minutes - you can see the difference. Those with oily skin might find the staying power lacking. Even for me, it breaks down quickly around the nose and forehead. While it creates a truly beautiful skin finish, the price is quite steep. I'd suggest choosing based on your skin type. Not recommended for oily skin... Best for dry skin types who like a matte look, or for combination to normal skin.
TipIf you're after a brighter look, I'd suggest going one shade lighter when purchasing.

Without stearic acid and octinoxate, I can finally use a cushion foundation again. I was forced to use Double Wear and Sheer Glow constantly due to acne issues. I disliked Double Wear's heavy skin finish, but had no choice. Now that this Pro version is out without any problematic ingredients, I'm thrilled! I had to give up on Designer Glow and Power Fabric Plus due to blemishes, but I've been using this for 4 days now without any breakouts. The skin finish is smooth and applies thinly while giving a flawless look. Compared to Power Fabric Plus or Double Wear, the coverage might be slightly less, but it still covers most pigmentation well. For dark acne scars or redness, a concealer is a must! For reference, I use shade 22 in Korean brands, Bone in Double Wear, 21N in Silky Stay, and Mont Blanc in NARS Sheer Glow. Shade 3.8 in this foundation matches me naturally. Since this foundation has a thin finish and brightens the skin tone, my natural skin shows through a bit, which can look slightly uneven (maybe because I have very yellow undertones?).
ConsThe longevity is a bit disappointing... However, compared to Double Wear and Silky Stay, which would crack or separate on my oily skin and emphasize dead skin cells, Power Fabric Pro just seems to disappear into my natural oils. While that's somewhat disappointing, it might actually be better. In the afternoon, I can lightly blot with oil-absorbing sheets, spritz some mist, and touch up with a cushion for a smooth finish. It doesn't emphasize flakiness at all. I prefer this over foundations that crack and separate, which is a disaster...
TipThis foundation pairs well with the Hourglass primer.
