  Since I don't wear much makeup, I often cleanse my bare face. While this cleanser might not remove everything due to its low pH, it's gentle and non-irritating.   I appreciated that the pH level was written on the tube. Dictionhist seems to design their packaging very neatly and beautifully. They also clearly record all the necessary information. I used this after my first cleanse with cleansing oil, applying the foam cleanser with my hands. True to its low pH nature, it cleanses without irritating the skin. It would be great as a morning cleanser.

  Cons

  While I've enjoyed Dictionhist's other skincare products, their cleansing foam doesn't have a significant effect or pleasant scent. It has a somewhat chemical smell, similar to the raw ingredients. It's just an ordinary low pH cleansing foam. The foam isn't completely soft.

Even after using a foam maker and cleansing twice, there was no tightness at all - it's amazing, my face doesn't hurt! The foam isn't super rich, so for the second cleanse I deliberately used less water and more product. While it's not a dense foam, it's incredibly soft and hydrating (imagine whipped plant-based cream with a touch of sugar). Look at the ingredient list - it's remarkably simple. Not cluttered with unnecessary ingredients, you know? That says it all. Quick summary: If you have truly dry skin and have experienced tightness even with moisturizing cleansing foams, try this. I strongly recommend it. It's not for those seeking powerful cleansing action. Extra praise: I've been suffering from a cold, constantly blowing my nose, leaving the surrounding area raw. Even applying serum hurts, but I felt no pain cleansing twice with this. It's genuinely gentle... a miracle product!
