It glides on smoothly and the cooling effect is absolutely incredible!!! I knew Innisfree was good at making masks, but this one is next level. For someone like me who struggles with redness, it really helps calm down the heat in my face, takes care of flushing, and even tightens pores. I think it'll be especially great to use after working out!! And when you wash it off, your skin texture becomes incredibly soft and smooth.

With its powerful, fiery cooling sensation and rough scrub particles, those with super sensitive skin should use caution. Also, in terms of the mask's actual functions like soothing or pore care, it's a bit lacking. It's more of a mood-lifter than a serious skin treatment!

I applied this thinking 'How cool could it really be?', but wow, it's no joke... I was a bit drowsy when I used it, but the cooling effect was so intense it woke me right up. Using this on a hot summer night with a fan blowing would be pure bliss. The scent is a subtle, sweet mint that wafts gently. Since I don't have super sensitive skin, I didn't feel any irritation. If anything, the scrub might be too gentle? Honestly, while its effectiveness for sebum control and dead skin cells removal is somewhat mild, I'll likely repurchase just for this incredible cooling effect alone. It's refreshing, invigorating, and using one mask just puts you in a great mood!

As someone with skin prone to heat sensitivity, my face usually turns into a baked sweet potato after being outside. This product is perfect for calming that heated sensation every time

After using the Mint Choco Pore Mask, other skincare products seem to absorb even better! So, take advantage of this by slowly layering on your favorite essences and serums, starting with your toner. Finish off with a sheet mask for deeply hydrated skin with a perfect balance of oil and moisture. For an extra treat, you could even follow up with a modeling mask!

While I don't have issues with the product itself, I wouldn't recommend applying it in a windy environment... I learned that the hard way and let out an involuntary yelp from the cold! Also, be careful to avoid the eye area when applying. The intense cooling sensation spreads across your face, and those with sensitive eyes might find it a bit overwhelming. Additionally, while it's called 'mint choco', I was hoping for a bit more of a sweet scent. The overpowering peppermint aroma reminds me a bit too much of toothpaste... I wish there was a hint more of chocolate fragrance to balance it out.

I ran out of my volcanic clay pore mask and while searching for a replacement, I stumbled upon this pore mask that promised a 'tingling' sensation. A tingling pore mask? I thought it might just have a mild cooling effect, so I decided to give it a try. Little did I know... Even as I was scooping out the product to apply, I had no idea what I was in for. The slightly thick, mint-colored mud texture gives off a refreshing scent that's about 95% mint and 5% chocolate when you massage it on. But this goes beyond just feeling cool - it's truly tingling... almost to the point of being dizzying in its coldness. I imagined this is what it might feel like to brush your teeth with toothpaste and then immediately splash your face with ice-cold water. Is this normal? It's so cold it almost burns! I checked the product details and was shocked to see Innisfree boldly stating that this intense cooling effect and burning sensation is exactly what's supposed to happen. I seriously considered sneaking a bit onto my face at work when I'm struggling to stay awake - it's that powerful! The first time I used it, I had planned to do some dishes while the mask was on, but I ended up crawling into bed instead because of the intense sensation.

That said, I have to nod in agreement about how effectively it lowers skin temperature. With such a noticeable cooling effect, it's bound to bring down skin temperature, and I think those with skin that tends to get hot easily would really appreciate this sensation. Similar to the volcanic clay pore mask, it absorbs excess oil, dead skin cells, and moisture as time passes, hardening slightly. There's a bit of tightness, but not to the point of discomfort, which I liked.

There are also little chocolate-like granules embedded in the mask. They're not as sharp or abrasive as I expected, but provide a gentle exfoliating effect. It's a great multi-tasking item for those 'spa days' at home when you want to thoroughly cleanse away impurities and dead skin cells. If you follow up with nourishing skincare, you'll definitely notice a glow the next day, and subsequent products seem to absorb better too.

Other than that, I didn't experience any discomfort or blemishes. To be honest, I bought this without knowing much about cosmetics in general.

First off, I'm so pleased with this product from Hwahae! It's fantastic. I have oily skin, but I'll need to use it more to really know how it works for me.

While I'd recommend this for oily skin, those with dry skin might find it a bit too drying.

Oh, it feels incredibly refreshing! And I've always been a fan of the Volcanic Cluster, so I'm really pleased with this.
