Unless you have extremely dry skin, I'd recommend just using toner before applying this mask!

However, one downside is that it's a bit more oily than I expected, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. I usually just apply toner before using this, but on days when I thought my skin felt drier and used serum before this mask, I was surprised to find my skin quite oily the next day!
