Since eating out isn't as clean as home-cooked meals, I mainly took it when dining out. But counting out pills and carrying them around was such a hassle, so I decided to try this product. First off, I love how each serving is individually packaged - it's so neat and convenient. I only need to carry up to three packets a day, which has greatly reduced the hassle. What surprised me most was the absence of that signature sharp apple cider vinegar smell. You know how opening a bottle of ACV supplements hits you with that strong, ammonia-like vinegar scent? Well, these candies don't have that nose-wrinkling aroma at all, which is fantastic. The taste is slightly tangy and sweet (not overwhelmingly sugary like real candy), with a stevia-like moderate sweetness. The candies are very small, so they're easy to eat. Plus, knowing they contain collagen is an added bonus. I'm extremely sensitive and can't tolerate some supplements (omega-3, biotin, and some types of magnesium make me break out in acne immediately), but thankfully, these candies didn't cause any skin blemishes. While diet is crucial for blood sugar management, I've found that stress and sleep have the biggest impact. I'd been experiencing pain that I suspected was blood sugar-related - headaches, lower body pain, and menstrual issues. After taking these candies and making an effort to sleep earlier (though still not before 1:30 AM, when I used to sleep after 2 AM), those pains have disappeared. My digestion has been comfortable, and the simple intake method makes it easy to consistently manage blood sugar levels.
ConsSince it's a candy with other ingredients besides apple cider vinegar, I thought it might not be as potent as the ACV supplements I usually take. However, it seems to have quite a high ACV content. After prolonged use, I did experience some throat irritation. If you have acid reflux like me, I'd recommend limiting intake to 2 packets a day or just taking them occasionally when you overeat.
