When I applied it to an emerging pimple, it really helped calm it down. However, the soothing effect wasn't as impressive as I had hoped. To be honest, I probably wouldn't spend my own money on this product. My skin tends to have more bacterial acne like folliculitis rather than inflammatory acne, so it didn't make a huge difference for me. It was effective in calming my blemishes! While the results weren't dramatic, I could definitely feel that it soothed my acne faster than non-microneedle acne patches. After using it for about three days, my acne had noticeably subsided. It was particularly effective in calming the breakouts I get during my menstrual cycle, even more so than with pustular acne. What's great is that it's barely noticeable, so I could wear it during the day when going out! You know how some patches have that shiny finish that makes them obvious? Well, this one is relatively discreet compared to other microneedle patches. It's about as noticeable as a small bandage. The needles caused a very slight tingling sensation, but it was tolerable. I found that when wearing a face mask over the patch, the humidity slightly reduced its adhesiveness, which was a bit disappointing. And as expected with microneedle patches, the price point is quite high, which might be a drawback for some. For the best results, try applying the patch as soon as you feel a pimple coming on - you'll experience even faster calming effects!
