I'm not a fan of applying curl essences, so I've been using hair care products to maintain my soft, shiny, and bouncy perm. One of the best things about this product is how quickly the scent fades. Hair products often have strong fragrances that aren't my style, but this one doesn't overpower my perfume, which I absolutely love! I also really liked the spray's coverage and the weight of the droplets. It's somewhere between a fine mist and a standard spray.
ConsSince this is my first time using a spray-type essence/treatment, I feel I need to do more research on the typical price-to-quantity ratio and the level of nourishment for these kinds of products. I'd advise those looking to treat severely damaged hair to skip this product. It seems you'd need to use it in addition to nourishing shampoos, treatments, conditioners, and essences. The water-based formula is light, which means it's not sufficient on its own for pre or post-drying application. I went through the entire bottle in just a week (though that might be because of my long, permed hair). Both the nourishment level and the amount of product are inadequate. True to its spray form, I found it provided only light absorption and nourishment. If it were an incredibly nourishing product, the floor would be super slippery where I sprayed it. I suppose every product has its pros and cons.
TipFor those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, it's worth noting that this product might not provide the deep hydration or nourishment you're looking for. If you're prone to blemishes or have concerns about pores and redness, you may want to layer this with other more targeted treatments. While it does absorb well and might help even your skin tone, it may not be enough for those needing intense moisture or dealing with deep dryness. Consider incorporating it into a daily mask routine or using it as part of a broader skincare regimen for best results.

It's delicate and not overpowering. - You can feel your hair becoming softer with each use. - It really tames my hair. With my damaged locks prone to breakage and frizz, this leave-in treatment significantly reduces both issues. - Sometimes hair oils or cream leave-in treatments can make hair look greasy if overused, but even with about 10 pumps, this product doesn't weigh my hair down. It's perfect for a quick fix before heading to work.
Cons- If you have extremely damaged hair needing intense nourishment, this might not be quite enough. - Since my fine hair is severely damaged and sensitive to sun exposure, I apply this FromLabs leave-in treatment and then add a richer hair essence to my ends for extra care.
TipThis leave-in treatment seems to be a great option for those with fine, damaged hair looking for a lightweight yet effective solution. It helps improve manageability, reduces frizz and breakage, and doesn't weigh hair down. However, those with extremely damaged hair might need to layer it with other products for more intensive care.

As someone with hair that tends to get greasy and limp, I find this essence perfect for a light spritz. It's not too heavy or oily, yet it tames frizz effectively. You can use it on both dry and damp hair, which is super convenient! The fresh scent is also a mood-lifter when you spray it on. While it may not offer dramatic treatment effects, it's great for adding hydration and controlling flyaways. I keep it at the office for quick touch-ups.
ConsThough it's called a protein treatment, it might fall slightly short in terms of deep nourishment. However, if you're looking for a non-greasy hair essence, I highly recommend this!
TipI apply a heavier hair essence when my hair is wet, then lightly spritz this on after it dries.

When sprayed on damp hair after showering, it helps detangle and makes styling easier with smoother combing. The scent is subtle and not overpowering, making it comfortable for daily use. It's also non-sticky, which is a big plus. The package size fits nicely in your hand, which I appreciated. The spray dispenses evenly without gushing or clumping, providing a nice user experience. While the cap feels slightly loose, it's still convenient for carrying around. While it may not deliver dramatic results, I'm satisfied with it as an easy-to-use supplementary product. I would repurchase, and I find myself reaching for it often, especially when I need to quickly fix my hair before work.
ConsOn days when my hair is particularly damaged, this product alone doesn't provide enough hydration. It's fine for a light touch-up with the spray, but if you're expecting deep nourishment or shine, you might be slightly disappointed.
TipUse this product as an additional step after your regular shampoo and conditioner routine.

So when using treatment products, it's crucial that they don't weigh my hair down. This one was light enough to use comfortably. Even in winter, I hate when my hair feels heavy or loses root volume right after washing, as if I hadn't washed it at all. That's why I tend to reach for lighter products more often. I use this for both nourishment and styling, and it's great for a lightweight application. This seems like a good choice for those looking for a reliable, no-fuss option.
ConsI was born with hair that's prone to damage (it becomes impossible to brush even when I only use cool air from a hair dryer, without any heat styling, perms, or dyes). So I put a lot of effort into treatments. I need something that won't weigh down my roots while still providing consistent nourishment. This product doesn't weigh my hair down, but it falls short on the care effect. My usual product doesn't weigh my hair down, is lightweight, smells good, and provides proper care. I might use this one when I don't want to deal with the hassle of my regular product or get it on my hands.
TipHere's a summary of products I've liked: Dr. Groot shampoo, Aromatica oil, Kerasys primer treatment & silky oil, CP-1 ampoule, salon products (in jars), water treatments (convenient but temporary, no real benefits - any brand will do, but I prefer Byeome > Dr. Groot > Moremo, etc.).

ConsFeels lacking in nourishment. Seems to evaporate quickly after absorption. Hair still feels stiff when brushing.
TipThis leave-in treatment spray from FromLabs is designed for quick absorption without washing. It's particularly suitable for those with severely damaged hair or oily scalps during summer. The lightweight formula makes it easy to apply and style without leaving residue on your hands. However, if you have extremely damaged hair, you might find it insufficient on its own and may need to layer it with other products for better nourishment. While it absorbs quickly, some users may feel it doesn't provide long-lasting hydration, as the effects seem to dissipate rapidly. Despite its easy application, it may not fully address issues like hair stiffness when brushing.
