I snagged this during the launch sale, and it's fantastic! It feels so comfortable and hydrating on my lips. As someone with dry skin, most lip products feel heavy and sticky in summer, but not this one! It moisturizes without any stickiness. I've included a swatch photo - the last one shows it layered over a tint, used as a lip gloss alternative. I use it morning and night, and I'm loving it! The rose PDRN ingredient provides anti-aging benefits for your lips too. If you dislike stickiness but want medium to high hydration, I highly recommend this! While I don't mind using it morning and night, I think it would be great for daytime use if they released a version with a natural rose color or added SPF. Even when my glow tint fades after eating, I can dab a bit of this on with my pinky finger and it looks beautiful. It pairs well with water tints and matte tints too. You could make it last longer by only using it at night, but I tend to apply it liberally throughout the day! - no***Dry SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2025
As someone who slathers on lip balm generously almost every night to combat dead skin cells, I was intrigued when Luridia launched a new lip balm with a 1+1 offer. I couldn't resist giving it a try. Let's start with the design... It comes in a deep cool brown tube with a gold cap, and to be honest, it's not the most attractive. While aesthetics are subjective, I personally don't find it appealing at all. However, I'm not too fussy about packaging as long as it's practical, lightweight, and easy to carry around - which this one certainly is. For my nightly lip care routine, I usually prefer heavier, jar-type balms over sticks or tubes. But this product is a game-changer - it's substantial yet comes in a tube format, which I absolutely love. You can apply it directly from the tube to your lips, but I prefer squeezing some onto my finger for hygiene reasons. Still, it's much more convenient than dipping into a jar. The balm has a subtle mint scent and a transparent formula with a very light pink tint. The texture may vary slightly depending on temperature, but I've found it consistently easy to use with a pleasant consistency. When applied, it gives a nice, warming sensation without any sticky residue - it's rich but not tacky at all. Now, for the most crucial aspect - its effectiveness in tackling dead skin cells. While it's not the absolute best I've tried, it does a pretty good job. After one night's use, my lips feel smooth in the morning, though some flakiness might appear by afternoon. Using it consistently for two or three nights in a row yields even better results. For context, I'm someone who accumulates dead skin cells quickly and needs to apply a thick layer every night to keep my lips in check. My first thought upon using it was, "This is exactly like the Soul lip balm!" It's remarkably similar to Xoul's Ever Moist Volume Lip Balm - from the rich yet non-sticky texture to the satisfyingly smooth feel and pleasant mintiness. Like the Soul balm, this one works great not just for nighttime use but also as a glossy topper over tints or matte lip products for a plump, smooth look. I can't help but wonder if they were aiming to create a tube version of the Soul lip balm. They're even made by the same manufacturer, Kolmar. (This is just my personal observation - others might perceive them differently.) Price-wise, the Soul lip balm is 26,000 won for 8g, while the Luridia is 19,000 won for the same amount. I'd recommend grabbing whichever is on sale. The Soul balm rarely drops below 19,000 won even when discounted, so I'm leaning towards the Luridia for its tube format advantage. I have no regrets about buying the 1+1 offer - if anything, I wish I'd bought more! I would definitely repurchase this product. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product - I'm quite satisfied. If I had to nitpick reasons for not giving it a full five-star rating: It's on the pricier side, the design isn't particularly attractive, and while it's good at tackling dead skin cells, it's not the absolute best in that category.
