First off, despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies surprisingly smoothly and doesn't leave an intense white cast. (It's not completely invisible, but I actually use it as a brightening moisturizer too!) What I love most is that it doesn't irritate my skin at all. After application, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated without any greasiness. It's perfect as a makeup base - when I apply foundation over it, it creates a smooth, powder-like finish as if I've used a primer. With its SPF50+ / PA++++ rating, it provides robust protection on days with intense UV rays. It also contains beneficial ingredients like niacinamide and adenosine, which seem to naturally even out my complexion. I highly recommend this for those with super sensitive skin or anyone looking for a product that combines brightening, sun protection, and skin-soothing effects all in one. The mineral sunscreen does have a slight whitening effect (this may be hit or miss depending on your skin tone) If you have dry skin, make sure to moisturize thoroughly before applying to avoid any patchiness Apply when your skin is still slightly damp from your skincare routine! This prevents clumping and ensures a more natural application. Try applying in small amounts, layering gradually! To avoid a white cast, don't apply too much at once. Instead, dab small amounts onto your skin and gently pat it in. It works great as a tone-correcting base before foundation! On lazy mornings, this alone can give your face a lovely, refreshed look. - an******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's in a league of its own compared to other brightening moisturizers I've tried. Lately, I've been sweating a lot and didn't want to wear makeup, but thanks to the Banclé O UV cream, I can just apply this sunscreen and head out without needing any other makeup. # Adherence - It adheres lightly and smoothly to the skin. It's quite rich, so if you apply too much, it might take some time to absorb and could leave a whitish cast. # Recommended skin tone - I think it would suit a wide range of complexions. I have a fairly light skin tone, and at first it seemed a bit bright, but after a while, it naturally blended into my skin tone. # Overall review - Until now, I've only used sunscreens without brightening effects and applied makeup separately. But since using Banclé O sunscreen, I don't need to worry about makeup, and it has great staying power. I'm very satisfied with it. As you can see in the photo, after application, my complexion looks much brighter and more vibrant. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. The amount is generous, and I haven't experienced any blemishes. I highly recommend double cleansing when washing your face. Even when cleansing in the evening after applying it in the morning, I noticed some residue, so it doesn't come off completely with just one cleanse. Make sure to cleanse thoroughly! - al******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

But to my surprise, it doesn't make your skin look dull like some BB creams. Instead, it brightens your complexion like a foundation! In the photos, you can see the side where I applied the product first, followed by the untreated side. As you can see, it really gives your skin a beautiful tone. This is what I find so satisfying compared to other brightening moisturizers that can make you look ghostly white. I noticed a slight pilling effect. This might be due to applying a generous amount, but if you're using it as a sunscreen and apply it liberally, it could feel thick and pill. It would be perfect to use as a makeup base before applying your makeup. If you apply a moderate amount before your makeup in summer, your foundation will go on much more smoothly and stay put! - 12********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

However, I want to share my honest experience to help others with similar skin types. I'll include both my thoughts and my boyfriend's positive experience. ☑ Darkens complexion For my Shade 13 skin, it darkened my complexion and felt heavy like foundation. Though labeled as a UV cream, it's closer to a BB cream in texture. It may darken lighter skin tones, so those looking for brightening effects won't find them here. I tested it on the darkest part of my body - the back of my hand - and even that looked darker due to its yellow base. + My boyfriend experienced perfect brightening and evening of skin tone! He says it's similar to his usual BB cream. ☑ Emphasizes wrinkles/texture, clings to nose area, highlights whiteheads I have extremely dry skin, so even dewy foundations can sometimes make my skin flake. This product initially seemed fine, but by afternoon, it embarrassingly emphasized wrinkles and texture. If you have any whiteheads around your nose, it's a disaster. I spared you those photos. Those with dry skin should think carefully before trying this. + My boyfriend had no issues. No clinging or emphasized whiteheads, which were major problems for me. While I had other minor concerns, it's crucial to exfoliate well, especially around the nose, before applying this product if you have any dead skin cells or texture issues. - na*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've heard mineral sunscreens are great for sensitive and delicate skin, so the fact that it's mineral-based alone deserves extra points. -Application- The absorbs well is fantastic. Even for someone like me who's not great at applying makeup, it's easy to spread evenly. I plan to use it often as a convenient daily item. -Brightening Effect- My face had gotten tanned and yellowish, so I was hesitant about using dedicated brightening moisturizers. But this sunscreen provides a natural brightening effect, making it perfect for a quick application before heading out. -Long-lasting Hydration- Although I applied this product after my skincare routine and moisturizer, I was pleasantly surprised. Some mineral sunscreens can dry out quickly, but with this one, I hardly noticed any dryness. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I just hope they'll have frequent discount events in the future. - lk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Occasional blemishes on the chin. Skin tends to break out once or twice a year when not watching my diet. I have thin skin! Usage period: 2 weeks Texture: Hydrating formula (quite fluid for a sunscreen) Scent: Contains fragrance, but it's not overpowering. Just smells like a typical foundation, if that makes sense. Pros: 1) Dermatologically tested (mineral oil-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free, dye-free), so it's suitable for those with super sensitive skin. 2) Strong UV protection plus brightening effect, making it great as a makeup base. 3) My favorite part - unlike most sunscreens that need 20-30 minutes to take effect, the Banclé O Skin Bright UV Cream forms a protective barrier immediately after application! Cons: It might feel a bit rich for some. For me, it's fine as my skin is dry lately, but I did notice some slight pilling. The biggest drawback might be the added fragrance, especially for those with super sensitive skin. It's a shame because nowadays there are so many brightening sunscreens without added fragrances that are gentler on the skin. Pro tips: - On no-makeup days, use this product alone as a base. It provides noticeable brightening and makes you look pretty. Once fully absorbed, it doesn't leave a shiny finish. - To minimize pilling and achieve a more flawless complexion, apply a makeup primer before the Banclé O UV cream. - st******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's a sexy yet simple design. The back is written in Japanese which I can't read, but I trust it since Japanese cosmetics are known for their quality. User Experience: I'm a big fan of mineral sunscreens, so I tried this Banila Co tone-up cream for the first time after hearing good things. I'm writing this review after using it for about a week. As expected, it gives a natural tone-up effect. As someone who uses shade 21 foundation, I feel like I could go out with just this sunscreen on and still get decent coverage and skin tone evening. It's smooth and adheres well to the skin without much stickiness. I'm quite satisfied. What I Loved Most: The natural brightening effect gives a lighter foundation look without feeling heavy or cakey. It's lightweight too. Looking at the ingredients, I see it contains niacinamide, so continued use should improve skin tone. It's also certified to be free of harmful ingredients, which increases my trust in the product. This could be enough for light outings on its own. Room for Improvement: There's not much to complain about. Just be aware it might pill a bit, so make sure to let it absorb fully before applying makeup. Tip: This applies to all cosmetics, not just this one: For seamless makeup application, let the product absorb fully, then spritz on some facial mist. After that absorbs, start your makeup routine to prevent pilling or separation. - hy****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 7, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Given it's summer, I opted for a lighter skincare routine and tried this product. I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it felt, without any dryness, and it left a slightly matte finish which I loved. It provided a natural-looking correction, as if I'd always had great skin. Among similar products I've used, this one stands out as the best. Even my mother tried it and gave it her seal of approval. I highly recommend it! You need to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells before applying this. It tends to emphasize flakiness a bit. - ll******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It evens out redness and complexion differences naturally without feeling too thick, making it perfect for daily use. I was pleased that it concealed skin imperfections to some extent even without using a concealer. ⭐️ Adherence ⭐️ I loved how it instantly clung to my skin when applied. It doesn't lift or clump over time, but seems to blend naturally into the skin. Especially since it finishes with a powder-like feel without actually using powder, it's less likely to break down in summer, making it great for this time of year. ⭐️ Recommended Skin Tone ⭐️ The brightening effect is so natural that it would suit skin tones around 21-23 particularly well. It doesn't make you look too pale, but it does have an effect of making your face look brighter, so it gave me a lively appearance when my skin looked dull. It seemed to work better on skin with yellow undertones rather than redness. ⭐️ Texture ⭐️ While the formula is light and fresh, I personally felt a slight pilling when spreading it. The application may vary depending on your skin condition, so I think it would apply more smoothly if you thoroughly moisturize before use. ⭐️ Blemishes ⭐️ When I used it while my skin was sensitive, I occasionally got tiny, millet-like blemishes. Rather than being an issue with the product itself, I think it's best for those with super sensitive skin or frequent breakouts like me to monitor their skin's reaction while using it. ⭐️ Tip 1 ⭐️ Instead of applying a lot at once, layering thin amounts multiple times allows it to adhere naturally without pilling. Especially for areas prone to lifting like around the nose or mouth, gently pressing with your fingers as a finishing touch makes it look much neater. ⭐️ Tip 2 ⭐️ On dry days or when dead skin cells are bothersome, mixing it 1:1 with a moisturizer makes it apply much more smoothly and naturally. The brightening effect becomes more subtle, making it perfect for daily use. ⭐️ Tip 3 ⭐️ While it's good on its own, using it as a tone-correcting base before foundation evens out your complexion, resulting in a cleaner overall makeup look. I found it very useful when aiming for a natural brightening effect. - ye**********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJul 6, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The application is smooth, naturally evening out skin tone and covering blemishes. When I applied it with my fingers, I thought it might look a bit patchy, so I tried patting it with a puff. It seemed to lift slightly, but it wasn't bad overall. I was pleased to see how well my makeup adhered when I applied color cosmetics on top. Right after application, my skin looked absolutely fantastic! As I have combination dehydrated skin and it's summer, after a few hours, my makeup started to clump and gather in certain areas. This was particularly noticeable in my T-zone, butterfly zone, and chin area. However, I've never experienced such strange makeup breakdown with other products, so I was quite taken aback... I might need to try this again when the weather cools down. If you're considering using this product in summer, it might be suitable for short outings when you prefer a foundation-free look. I haven't tried it in cooler weather, so I can't speak to its performance in other seasons.
