  Pros

  I tried the sample I received and immediately purchased the full size! As someone with combination skin - very oily T-zone and dry U-zone - I found it great. I used it on days when I wore makeup or when my skin was particularly oily. Being a moisturizer, I love how hydrating it is!

  Cons

  There's nothing I disliked! I was just a bit surprised that the container was smaller than I expected.

  Tip

  When my skin is particularly oily, I use this product after showering when pores are more open. I apply it as if I'm melting away the excess sebum. While it doesn't completely eliminate all oil, I feel it definitely helps improve the situation!

  Pros

  I've used up an entire bottle and I'm eagerly waiting for my reorder to arrive. I mainly use waterproof products, and this cleanser is gentle, removes makeup effectively, and rinses off well. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, and even though I have sensitive skin, I've used it without any worries about blemishes. The photo shows the empty bottle after I pumped out the last bit today.

  Cons

  Towards the end, it becomes difficult to pump out the product. That's the limitation of the pump design.

  Tip

  Here's a tip: tilt the bottle in the direction of the curved end of the pump's tube (like a straw) when pumping. This way, you can use every last drop effectively!

  I've been using cleansing foams for ages, but this was my first time trying a cleansing oil. I've been using it for about two or three years now, since high school. Back then, I only applied sunscreen, but now that I wear makeup daily, oil cleansing has become even more essential. It emulsifies well, and even when I'm wearing Heroine Make mascara, it comes off easily with gentle massaging. I have an oily T-zone with some small blemishes, but the rest of my body is quite dry. When I cleanse with just this oil, my skin feels comfortable without any tightness afterwards. The initial purchase might seem a bit pricey, but I always buy refills after that, which makes it quite cost-effective.

  Cons

  I usually prefer cleansing with just oil to avoid that tight feeling after washing, but sometimes it doesn't feel thorough enough. Lately, I find myself doing double or triple cleansing almost every time (since I need to remove both eye and face makeup carefully). There aren't any major drawbacks though, and the scent isn't unpleasant either.

  Tip

  I buy the refill and transfer it into the original container for use.

  Pros

  This was my first time trying a cleansing oil, and what I loved most was how it left my skin feeling moisturized rather than dry after cleansing! Even when my acne was at its worst, I used this product and could feel it drawing out sebum. It's also very effective at removing makeup. I've been using it for over a year and have repurchased it several times!

  Cons

  There's not really anything I disliked about it. I've noticed that even for highly praised products, you'll always find some reviews mentioning breakouts or skin reactions. This product seems to have quite a few of those too. When my acne was really bad, I used this for cleansing, so I wonder if that's why it didn't clear up quickly. Now I hardly have any blemishes! It doesn't seem to cause new breakouts on clear skin. Well, that's just my impression from reading the reviews here - I personally haven't experienced any irritation or blemishes from it.

  Tip

  Pump it two or three times and massage it over your entire face. I used to do it for longer, but I've heard it's not good to leave oil on for more than a minute, so don't overdo it. Make sure to emulsify it properly. It doesn't remove my Etude Dr. Fixer mascara, so I use a separate eye makeup remover before this. Follow up with a second cleanse. They say oil cleansers work well with soap, but I think it's fine to be a bit casual about it. I just use whatever foam cleanser I have lying around for the second step.

  Pros

  I prefer daily makeup, and the biggest advantage of this product is that it removes makeup thoroughly without needing a special remover. Plus, there's absolutely no deep dryness after cleansing!

  Cons

  Being an oil-based product, even after rinsing several times, there's still a bit of a rich feeling left on the skin.

  Tip

  Since I don't use a separate makeup remover, I always double cleanse on days when I wear makeup. I finish with an oil cleanse first, then follow up with a small amount of cleansing foam or cleansing soap for a second round of cleansing!
