I could still feel the walnut granules a bit, but since my skin is on the sensitive side, the scrub doesn't seem overly irritating at this level.

I could feel my skin becoming silky smooth, and the walnut granules effectively removed excess sebum and impurities. After washing, there was no dryness, and it felt quite nice.

The exfoliation works really well, but the amazing thing is that there is no dryness felt on the face after using it! Even after washing, there is a moisturized and supple feeling, which is great!

They say that other scrubs have different particle sizes under a microscope. But this one has evenly rounded, consistent-sized particles, which are less likely to cause microtears. So they say it's good for sensitive skin.
But... to be honest, I couldn't really tell much of a difference 😭
In fact, I could feel the scrubbing particles more than my usual ㅇㅇㅍㄹ ㅍㄱ scrub, so I only used it as a face pack, not on its own.
The effects were similar to other scrubs!
For sensitive skin, you're supposed to use a cleansing milk plus a scrub, but if it's going to be this much of a hassle, why not just make it a single-step product? I don't understand why they're making it so complicated 😭

Skin Type: Sensitive skin with frequent heat sensations and acne breakouts
I often have pustular breakouts once a month due to hormonal cycles, and recently have also been getting pustular breakouts around my chin area from wearing masks.
In spring and summer, my skin tends to be oily, while in fall and winter it becomes dry and flaky.

Every two weeks, I generously apply cleansing milk all over my face, then gently apply a scrub on top like a mask.
After 15 minutes, I add water and gently roll and rinse it off.
After washing, I either apply a generous amount of an enhancer (soothing gel) or finish with a face pack.
The next day, my skin feels smooth and supple, and the bumpy acne spots have improved.
Consistently doing this routine has helped reduce the frequency of my breakouts.
Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any severe redness or irritation.

The 'healing crisis' phenomenon is not scientifically proven, and it's a false claim used by direct sales to reassure customers. Cosmetics that don't suit me and are irritating are toxic.

In addition to this, I changed everything from the cleansing foam to the skin lotion, and I just threw them all to my friend. Skin sensitivity? Absolutely not. I've never had my skin turned upside down even when I just used sample products. How toxic and bad must the ingredients be for this to happen? The 'healing crisis' phenomenon? That's really nonsensical talk (haha). I downloaded Hwahae just to leave this review. I'll attach before and after photos, of course, with the clean one being before use.

It's really painfully irritating. My skin is not that sensitive. Even samples from drugstores or products that are said to be good, not expensive scrubs, have never been this irritating. As soon as I applied it, in less than 10 seconds, it became too irritating, so I rinsed it off. What's with the walnut shells? I don't even want to give it one star. I only used it for about 2 months based on a friend's recommendation, but my skin was completely messed up, and I had to go to a dermatologist, which was ridiculous.

Scrub products tend to be like that, but you'll need to moisturize well afterwards. And it may be a bit irritating for sensitive skin.

I liked the fact that they used walnut shells to make the scrub, and it was one of the least irritating scrubs I've tried. I started using this product through a friend's recommendation, and she said that the walnut shells can remove impurities without needing to rub too vigorously. I was so happy that my skin had been getting better, and now I wish I could go back in time. This is truly the worst cosmetic product I've ever used. Even when I was using it, I could tell it was quite irritating.

I don't have this product anymore. I had a bad experience with it and ended up having to see a dermatologist and get a prescription. This is the first time I've had my skin get so messed up from a cosmetic product. I'm really frustrated about it.

This can also be used by mixing it with the pack when doing a double cleanse.

☀️ When using in the morning: Apply it to areas with a lot of sebum or dead skin, such as the sides of the nose, chin, and eyebrows, and let it sit for 3-4 minutes before rinsing. This will make your makeup go on so much better~~

🌙 When using at night: I always use it with a soothing cream (an 'enhancer'). It not only calms the skin, but also gives a really moisturized feeling! Dry-skinned people, be sure to use an 'enhancer' together!
