The formula is not heavy and applies lightly to the skin. The greatest advantage would be that it creates a natural-looking complexion. Among the various products I've used, this was the most hydrating and the moisturizing effect lasted the longest. As a dry skin type with a lack of both oil and moisture, other products would always leave a tightening sensation after some time, but this product did not have that unpleasant feeling, which I liked.
