  It's great at locking in moisture and combating deep dryness. I love how it absorbs into the skin.

  Cons

  However, if you only apply the soothing solution and finish there, it can feel a bit drying in spring, fall, and winter. It's perfect when you follow up with a regenerating cream.

  Pros

  I've heard propolis is great for reducing inflammation, and it seems to help calm my inflammatory blemishes when I apply it.

  Cons

  If you're sensitive to scents, you might not be able to use this... It has an odd smell. Also, since it's a gel type, it can feel dry once it dries, so you'll need to follow up with a moisturizing cream.

  Absolutely amazing for soothing the skin. I've probably used over 10 bottles by now. If you're not a fan of aloe gel in summer, you must give this a try.

  Cons

  There's a slight tightness after it dries, but applying an additional moisturizer solves the issue.

  I decided to try using aloe soothing gel as a mask during summer. Propolis is known for its effectiveness in reducing inflammation. I noticed it helped cool down my face, though it didn't completely calm my red blemishes.

  Cons

  The main drawback was that it didn't have a significant effect. Due to the gel's nature, when it dries and feels tight on the skin, it can actually make your skin feel more dehydrated.

  Tip

  In summer, after applying your skincare, use this as a sleeping mask and then layer on another mask. The cooling sensation lasts much longer this way.

  Skin type: Combination skin with redness (dry U-zone, oily T-zone) • Convenient tube packaging for easy use • Calming effect when experiencing redness or facial heat • Gentle and beneficial ingredients, as expected from Isol products • Reasonably priced • Almost no rich feeling. Very clean finish.

  Cons

  • Being a propolis product, the scent is... noticeable. However, it's only present during application and barely detectable afterwards. You might even grow to like it as you get used to it? • It's a gel texture with good absorption, but it seems to set quickly. You need to apply it swiftly • Difficult to control the amount. You need to squeeze very gently to dispense a tiny amount.

  Tip

  It might be slightly lacking in hydration to use as a standalone moisturizer. It's best to pair it with a richer cream for optimal results.

  Pros

  The cool gel texture was especially great for soothing my red, sun-exposed, heated skin! The propolis scent is quite strong, but it didn't bother me much. When my redness flares up and my skin feels off, I love applying a generous layer before bed. The next morning, I can really feel how much it's calmed my skin. I used to love this product, so I decided to repurchase it after a while, and it's still just as good!

  While it feels very hydrating when applied, once it dries, my skin feels a bit dry, so I need to layer a moisturizer on top.

  ✅Skin Condition Sensitive combination dehydrated skin + Small pores + Poor moisture absorption + Cystic acne + Slow acne scar healing ✅Scent As someone with sensitive skin who'd rather deal with a temporary unpleasant smell than skin irritation... It took some getting used to. Once you adapt, it's fine. Smells like herbal medicine, haha! ✅Sensitivity, Irritation -Usually my skin stings or my under-eyes redden immediately if a product is too harsh, but this soothing gel caused no such reaction ==> That's worth one star right there! -I typically get new blemishes or breakouts the next day if a product doesn't suit me, but after a week of use, no new troubles appeared ==> Add another three stars for that!! ✅Calming Effect It definitely has a calming effect. I happened to break out from a new cosmetic product, but after a week of using this, I could see the blemishes fading. (My acne scars usually linger for ages) ✨Conclusion✨ As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm very impressed by the lack of irritation, visible calming effects, and prevention of new breakouts. However, for a product labeled 'soothing', the hydration is somewhat lacking. (See drawbacks) Highly recommended for oily skin types!!!

  ✅Moisture (Texture and Application) -Thick gel-like texture (feels like applying aloe vera gel) -For combination dehydrated skin types with small pores like mine (almost dry), it might be difficult to feel deeply hydrated. -For my skin type, it applies smoothly at first but feels sticky at the end. As this stickiness dries, it creates a sensation of skin tightness. I once experienced an imbalance in oil and moisture levels using a thick, snot-like hyaluronic acid product (poor absorption), so I'll need to keep an eye on this texture. I'll update my review after finishing the whole bottle ^_^

  Tip

  Apply this right before your moisturizer step. After application, divide your face into T-zone and cheek areas, then gently pat (don't rub) your usual cream to help it absorb well. This prevents your makeup from pilling! Oddly enough, even your regular cream seems to absorb better, leaving a subtly matte finish. (Highly recommended for oily skin types)

  This is an incredibly hydrating soothing gel. It absorbs quickly and has a non-sticky, fresh finish that makes it great for lightweight application.

  Cons

  First off, the scent is distinctly propolis, which feels too acidic and off-putting when applying to the face. I used it hoping it would help with blemishes, but the anti-inflammatory and calming effects were less impressive than expected. In fact, my skin seemed to react poorly to the propolis, causing more small pimples to appear, so I stopped using it after just 3 days. Like most gel-type products, when used alone, it can leave the skin feeling tight as it dries. I won't be repurchasing.

  I have extremely dry skin, so I use Physiogel even in summer, adjusting the amount... It's like finding a needle in a haystack to get a product that provides enough hydration without feeling too heavy! I never even considered gel products because of my dry skin. But I knew Isoi was famous for using only good ingredients, and since I had just finished my emulsion, I thought this might work as a replacement. I was lucky enough to win a giveaway and try it, and I'm really satisfied with it! When I use this alone, it's not quite enough for me, so I thought it wouldn't work. But when I apply a moisturizer on top, my skin becomes incredibly supple! I was amazed, thinking 'Wow, I could keep using this combination!' So lately, I've been using this combo without fail!! I love it so much!

  Cons

  For those with dry skin, I think it's very risky to use this alone. Just a short while after applying, the gel dries up and you start to feel an intense tightness, which made me immediately reach for a moisturizer. If you have dry skin, don't think of this as a standalone product - reconsider using it by itself! Also, those sensitive to fragrances might have some issues... Almost all the products I use are unscented, so even after applying this and a moisturizer on top, I could still smell the Isoi product. But I did get used to the scent over time.

  Tip

  For me, rather than applying an emulsion on top of this, I found it works best to use a small amount and then gently pat on a light layer of moisturizer right away! It might be different for everyone, but this made my skin incredibly supple. For reference, I use Physiogel and Dr.G Barrier cream.

  I found this aloe gel to have better soothing effects than regular ones. While it doesn't completely eliminate blemishes, it does show some effectiveness when applied to areas where small bumps are starting to appear due to an imbalance in oil and moisture balance.

  Cons

  The scent is a bit disappointing due to the propolis content. Also, since it has a color, it leaves marks when it dries, so you need to wipe it off even for quick outings. Personally, I find that using this type of soothing gel makes my skin feel drier, so I have to pay extra attention to hydration in my subsequent skincare routine.
