Pros
It's great that it's moisturizing and effectively controls dryness. I like the absorbed feeling.
Cons
But when I only apply the soothing solution and don't use the finishing cream, I feel a bit dry in the spring, fall, and winter. It's perfect when I also apply the recovery cream.

Pros
This is probably the best toner I've ever used, I've written about it more than 10 times. Those who don't like aloe vera gel should definitely try this.
Cons
It leaves a slight tightness after application and drying, but adding a moisturizer on top resolves this issue.

I tried using aloe vera soothing gel like a face pack in the summer. Propolis was effective in reducing inflammation. It was effective in reducing facial heat, but it didn't manage to calm down the red blemishes.
Cons
The lack of significant effect. Due to the nature of the gel, it feels like it dries up and sticks, which can give a rather drying feeling.

The propolis scent is quite strong, but it didn't bother me too much. When my skin felt flushed and irritated, I would apply a generous amount and leave it on overnight, and I could feel my skin calming down a lot by the next day. The first thing I noticed was the strong propolis scent, which was quite pungent when applied to my face, making me reluctant to use it. I have dehydrated skin, but I still use Physiogel in the summer... It's really hard to find a product that provides enough moisture without feeling too heavy. As a dry skin type, I've never even bothered trying gel products. But I knew Isol was known for making products with great ingredients, and since I had just finished my lotion, I thought their lotion might work well as a replacement. I'm really satisfied with how it's been working for me! Just applying this alone makes my skin feel plump and hydrated, so I don't even need to use a separate moisturizer on top. I'm loving this combination and have been using it religiously lately!! It's been amazing!
Cons
I think using this product alone would be too much for those with dry skin. After applying it, it starts to feel really tight and drying on my skin within just a little while, so I immediately have to reach for a moisturizer. So I wouldn't recommend using this as a standalone product for dry skin types - you'll definitely need to pair it with a moisturizer. And those sensitive to fragrance might have some issues with this as well... Most of the products I use are fragrance-free, but I could still detect a bit of the Isol product's scent even after applying my moisturizer on top. But the fragrance did start to fade and become more tolerable over time for me.
Tip
I found that I liked applying just a light layer of this product and then quickly following up with a moisturizer on top, rather than using a heavier application and a separate lotion. That seemed to work best for my skin - it ended up feeling plump and hydrated. By the way, I also use Physiogel and Dr.G Barrier Cream.
