It's incredibly hydrating! You can feel a cooling effect when applying. Even when layered, it doesn't peel off or pill, but builds up beautifully! When you set it with powder, it still maintains a glow, and your skin looks really pretty and even. Even with powder, it doesn't look matte at all! With powder, the staying power is top-notch. The brightening effect becomes more noticeable some time after application. At first, I was like 'Huh?' when I couldn't see the tone-up, but now I'm completely satisfied! The coverage is decent too, hiding most blemishes except for major breakouts. It's not as heavy as other cushions, but that's a good thing! It's so moisturizing that without powder, it can look like you're dripping with oil. It's a bit much. Also, the product doesn't come out easily. You have to press really hard to get it out. The amount seems a bit small. Other than that, it's perfect! Make sure to fully absorb your skincare products like toners and emulsions into your skin to prevent the cushion from separating (this applies to all cushions). After applying emulsion, let it fully absorb into your skin. Then when you apply the cushion, it adheres well and looks great! I originally used a different version of 3CE (the black case), but when refills became hard to find, I tried other products and was so disappointed that I went back to the store to repurchase everything. That's when I discovered this one, which was cheaper than the previous 3CE product... and wow, it's absolutely worth every penny! It doesn't transfer, applies lightly, and the coverage is just as good as other products. It's such a shame that more people don't know about this gem! While experiences may vary, I personally haven't found any drawbacks yet. This cushion has a different charm compared to other 3CE cushions. I highly recommend both, but if you prefer a lighter feel, this product might be the better choice.
