ConsAs someone with dry skin, I find it a bit lacking in moisture during winter, causing some tightness. The good thing is that it feels lightweight, though that's also a drawback for me.

It's perfect for those with extremely oily skin. When applied in moderation, the absorption and texture feel just right. I also appreciate its unscented formula, which doesn't irritate. This product really helped calm my skin when I was dealing with excessive sebum production and acne breakouts. Having sensitive skin, I often struggle to find suitable cosmetics, but this one is gentle enough to work well for me. Highly recommended for those with very oily skin!
ConsSince developing combination dehydrated skin, I'm not sure if this product is the cause, but my skin became so dry that I can no longer use it. This product lacks both hydration and oil content for standalone use (except in summer). It feels more like a toner. After prolonged use, I noticed extreme tightness and dryness in areas other than my T-zone. Desperate to make it work, I tried layering it with other products, but it seemed to only clog my pores without providing any real benefits to my skin. Strongly discouraged for those with combination dehydrated skin!
TipThis might be suitable for occasional use when your skin is feeling sensitive, excessively oily, or temporarily dry during travel. However, it's a bit lacking as a daily skincare product.

When I'm doing my makeup, I feel like this emulsion is a must-have in my base routine - it seems to make my makeup apply even better. I plan to keep using Papa Recipe's emulsion consistently in the future.
ConsThe only downside is that the scent isn't great, but the effectiveness is so good that I continue to use it regularly.

As someone with super sensitive skin and frequent blemishes, I love that it doesn't cause any irritation and feels like it absorbs instantly! It's like I'm finally free from alcohol and oil-based products!
ConsFor concealing blemishes... I'm not sure if it's this product or something else, but it's a bit disappointing. While Papa Recipe products are generally trustworthy, it seems a bit unrealistic to expect miraculous results in one go. Also, while it absorbs quickly and doesn't irritate, the hydration level is somewhat lacking, unfortunately.
TipUsing it with a toner doubles the benefits!

It's impressive that it doesn't cause any breakouts even on super sensitive skin, which suggests it's a pretty good product.
ConsWhile it applies smoothly, there's a tightening sensation as soon as it absorbs. The hydration doesn't seem to last. Using this emulsion alone leaves my face feeling dry.
TipIt would probably work well when paired with a hydrating moisturizer.

It seems to even out skin texture too. For blemishes, you start to see results pretty soon after you begin using it. Great for oily skin, though those with dry skin might feel a bit of deep dryness.
ConsWhile my blemishes didn't get worse, I can't say they've improved much either. I've been using it for quite a while now, but I'm not seeing any more progress, so I'm thinking about switching to something else.
TipInstead of rubbing it in, try patting it on for better absorption.

The formula is incredibly lightweight, absorbs well without feeling heavy, and leaves your skin hydrated without any greasy residue. I've repurchased this about 5 times along with the toner, and I plan to keep using it unless something extraordinary comes along!
ConsOccasionally, there's a slight tingling sensation. I suspect it might be due to the salicylic acid, but it's not a lasting effect. It disappears within seconds of application, so there's no need to worry.
