Pros
I was worried about the thick texture, but when applied with a damp sponge, the adhesion, coverage, and longevity are all great. It's no wonder they call it a 'rubber eraser foundation'. When I used this foundation, people often asked me what foundation I was wearing. I bought the porcelain shade and it matched my skin tone beautifully. (These days, the trend seems to be for a natural, 'barely there' look in skin makeup... but that could mean some people may not like the very fair skin look.) The staying power is also great - I didn't need to touch up my makeup all day. Out of all the foundations I've tried, this is my personal favorite product. The only downside is the high price, but if it were more affordable, I'd buy this one exclusively without hesitation, it's that good.
Cons
The downside is that it needs to be applied with a spatula, which seems unavoidable given the formula. I also noticed that sometimes dust would get into the product when I was using it, which was a bit concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Another issue was that when I used a separate sunscreen before applying this, the makeup would sometimes slip, which was disappointing.

Pros
It has good adhesion and is moisturizing yet fluffy. It also has good staying power. It's not too dark or too bright, and the formula is like an eraser foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly. It has a rich, creamy texture.
Cons
There is some darkening, and since I have sensitive skin, when I only use this, it causes inflammatory acne... The price is also outrageous, and I've only used a third of it, but it's already unusable.

Pros
I've been a nomadic foundation user due to my extremely dry skin, but I've finally found a holy grail product. I've tried foundations like Armani Lasting Silk and Designer Lift in the past, but there was a noticeable difference after removing my makeup, and the longer I wore them, the more cakey they would become (leading to breakouts). This time, I decided to try the Laura Mercier Cream Foundation, which is supposedly good for dry skin, and I'm very satisfied so far. Unlike other foundations, it doesn't just sit on top of the skin but actually sinks in, giving a luxurious look. Even 12 hours later, it hasn't caked up at all and still looks beautifully seamless (I barely even notice it breaking down).
Cons
I saw a review saying to use a small amount, so I started off with a little. The texture is quite different from the products I've used before, so I was a bit lost at first... The packaging is not a pump, which is a bit inconvenient. I'll need to find the right application technique to suit my own skin as I get more used to this foundation.

I definitely recommend this for dry skin! I tried applying it with my fingers, as well as with a damp sponge spritzed with setting spray, but I found that the best method for me was to squeeze a small amount onto the back of my hand, rub it in with my fingers, and then dab it onto my face, blending it out. For areas that needed more coverage, I'd go over it lightly with the sponge.

Pros
Using Laura Mercier products makes my sensitive skin feel the most comfortable, and the colors match well. I think I'll settle on Laura's products, as my extremely sensitive skin seems to agree with them. It's unfortunate that some people find the products to be thick and drying, as they likely just don't know how to use them properly. The coverage is medium-to-high. My skin feels comfortable and the finish looks natural. It has good longevity and makes my skin look healthy. A small amount spreads evenly. There's no emphasis on dry patches (of course, some skin with dry patches will still show them, but this foundation doesn't accentuate them for me).
Cons
The pot packaging is a downside, as is the short shelf life. If these two things could be improved, I'd use this product until I die. But even as is, I think I'll keep coming back to it, even if I try other things in between.

Dampening the sponge-like puff with water, or in my case, misting it first, then picking up a certain amount of foundation on my palm and gently stippling it onto my face, is a technique that gives such a healthy-looking result. This is the best foundation I've found that doesn't look cakey, yellow, or unnatural. Despite seeing many reviews saying this product is difficult to work with, the other positive feedback intrigued me enough to give it a try. And for someone as lazy as me, the simple process of just misting the puff and lightly stippling it on is a breeze, even when I'm in a rush in the mornings. I highly recommend giving it a try!

My skin is combination type, with an oily T-zone but dry cheeks. I usually use shade 23, and I think the warm ivory shade from Laura Mercier would look natural without any visible boundaries. I bought it on a duty-free chance because I heard good things about it, but it's not as matte as I expected. When I apply it with a damp sponge and mist, it looks nice and smooth. The lasting power is great - even when I didn't have time to touch up during the day, it still looked decent when I got home and washed my face. After switching foundations, people commented that my skin looked smooth and healthy! There's a slight oily glow, but that's fine. The coverage is also excellent - I don't even need to use concealer, just dab a bit more on any blemishes. I'm planning to stick with this foundation!

I don't like getting foundation on my hands, so I use the spatula that comes with it to spread it out widely on my face, then blend it in with a damp sponge. But the spatula that comes with the foundation is really poor quality ㅜㅠ So I have no choice but to use my old spatula. Another downside is the price - it's really expensive. The coverage and longevity are great. Even though I have oily skin, this foundation lasts longer than others.
