Pros
The coverage is not great, just a natural-looking level of coverage? In a way, the natural-looking coverage seems to be the appeal of this product - it's there but not overpowering. Pros
Even though I have skin type 22, I use shade 20. I have combination skin with acne and redness, so I was looking for a foundation with good ingredients, coverage, and a matte finish, and I ended up using this one. I like matte finishes, but this foundation is a bit more velvety and slightly luminous than the super-soft finish I was hoping for. A small amount provides good coverage, and it's lightweight and applies smoothly. My pores also look refined. I only used it during the fall and winter, and it was perfect for that time. I think it might get a bit shiny in the summer. Compared to other department store foundations, the price is reasonable. It's not in a heavy glass bottle or bulky, but in a slim tube, which I like. I think it's been out for a while, and it seems like it hasn't been discontinued, so there must be a reason for that. I think even those with dry skin could use this in the summer.
Cons
Since my skin is very sensitive to breakouts, I pay a lot of attention to the ingredients. This is better than some other department store brand foundations, but it's still not perfect. I think it might be weak against sweat and oil in the summer, and like other foundations, it settles into my laugh lines and under-eye wrinkles, leaving visible creases.

Pros
This is my holy grail makeup product!💛 I purchased it in the NC15 shade, and it blended seamlessly onto my usual 13 shade skin. The smooth application and great adherence mean it goes on thinly, and I didn't need to retouch my makeup even after 6 hours at school! Plus, the color is really pretty, and it gives a beautiful, glowing finish to the skin.
Cons
The price is a bit high, and the packaging looks a bit toothpaste-like, if I had to describe it... I wish they had paid a bit more attention to the case design.
Tip
Using a damp Dupe Puff to apply it really makes the skin look amazing.

Pros
This product is more suitable for dry skin. It's a dewy type, not a matte type, and has good coverage. The slightly bouncy gel-like texture doesn't run down like a liquid foundation. It absorbs quickly and feels refreshing when applied. The application is smooth, and it doesn't feel heavy or thick.
Cons
Due to the design, I'm storing it upside down to prevent the product from leaking out of the cap.
Tip
Since it has a gel-like texture, I've tried using various brushes and sponges. The brush works well, but the sponge absorbs the foundation too quickly, making me use too much product. So I first spread it out with my fingers, then lightly dab it with a sponge to finish absorbing it. This seems to be the best method for me.

Pros
My skin is sensitive and combination, but this product has worked really well for me, and I've been using it for almost 3 years now. The only thing is that it can be a bit thick when applied on its own, so I always mix it with another moisturizer. When I use it after applying sunscreen, the application is very smooth, and it gives my skin a beautiful finish.
Cons
For those with very dry skin, this product might be a bit too thick on its own, but I think mixing it with other creams would work well.

The Mac foundation seems to be pretty decent! There are so many options for dry skin types, so if you choose the right product for your skin, it can be a good product. I have dry skin, and I found it to be quite moisturizing and have good application.
Cons
If you only apply the foundation without using a makeup base, the longevity won't last very long...

Pros
Even though I had acne scars, the coverage was great without using a concealer. When applied with the Real Techniques sponge, it was also moisturizing and had a smooth application! Overall, this is a decent foundation and I would repurchase it.
Cons
The disappointing part was that on a day when my skin condition was poor, it did lift up a bit around my nose area. Other than that, I was satisfied.
Tip
I would recommend using the Real Techniques sponge along with it for an even better result!
