Doing a soothing face mask the night before and focusing on hydration seems to be the most important thing:)

I wouldn't recommend this to those with dry skin as it can look matte right after application.
And... if you don't pay much attention to your skincare, the makeup can really emphasize that.
In my case, if my skin condition is poor, the makeup doesn't apply well and it ends up looking cakey.

I would recommend this to those who desire high coverage and skin-like finish.
It has great longevity and even when it starts to fade, it does so beautifully.
