Pros
Even though I have a dry skin type and often lack moisture in the summer, I recently started using this product because the acne caused by dryness was getting really bad. I used to just apply toner and lotion, but now I use toner, essence, and lotion! The difference in my makeup application is noticeable between the days I use it and the days I don't. While it's more about replenishing moisture than oil, I think it's really great for those with dry skin types!
Cons
There's not really any downside, but since the Biotherm products aren't exactly budget-friendly, I do tend to use them sparingly.

Pros
The moisturizing effect is better than expected. Even though I have dry skin, I don't feel any tightness in the winter when I use this and follow up with a gel cream. When it's very windy, I have to use a face oil as well.
Cons
The fragrance is a bit artificial. However, it's not an irritating scent. The most disappointing thing is that it's been discontinued.

Pros
My skin type is dry, but I'm not sure if it's just dry or combination dry-oily. Anyway, even in the summer, my skin gets dry, so I use a moisturizing cream 365 days a year. When I apply it and when I don't, the difference is quite noticeable. I've also tried the SK-II essence and the Estée Lauder Night Repair essence in the brown bottle, but I didn't feel like they were absorbed deeply. However, the Biotherm Aquasource feels lightweight when I apply it, and I can definitely feel the hydration.
Cons
It's lightweight and absorbs quickly since I have dry skin, but the formula isn't thick, so the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. I think it's better to use this product in the summer and during the day rather than in the winter or at night.
Tip
In the summer, I like to mix this with my Estée Lauder foundation. It doesn't make my makeup look cakey or too dry, and it gives me a nice, clean skin finish.

Although I have tried many brands at department stores as my skin is quite sensitive, I've realized through a lot of trial and error that Biotherm is the best fit for my skin. I've been using Biotherm products for almost 10 years now. For someone like me who doesn't wear much makeup, their basic skincare products are like holy grail items, as my skin looks clean and clear with just those. The products have good spreadability and absorption. The scent is just right, not too overpowering, which is unique to Biotherm. The moisturizing effect is also quite good. Of course, during seasonal changes or in the winter, I need to layer a cream on top as well.
Cons
The products are on the pricier side. That's why I tend to purchase them online these days. In the winter, I seem to go through them quite quickly. The ingredients may not be entirely clean either.
Tip
In the summer or winter, I adjust the amount of essence I use, but I have to apply the essence no matter what, or my skin will get very dry. In the winter, layering a lotion and cream together provides even better moisturizing effects.

Bali feels really good, the scent is great, and most importantly, I've never felt dry after using it. I didn't apply any other creams or anything, and this product alone made my skin feel so moisturized - it's a holy grail product!! I didn't experience any dryness or skin troubles when using this.
Cons
This product hasn't disappointed me, but the white dispenser often fell off and came apart when I pressed it, which was inconvenient. Of course, if I didn't drop it, it wasn't an issue.

I was looking for an essence that would help lock in moisture, as I tend to be a bit dry. Based on a friend's recommendation, I tried it and really liked it. Pumping it out, it has a milky, pearlescent sheen with a slightly runny texture. It applies smoothly and plumps up the skin without any tightness. I have sensitive and dry skin, and usually get acne breakouts. But after using this product, I don't get acne anymore. It also has a nice, smooth application.
Cons
