As someone who never used toner before, this was my first. At that time, I only had occasional blemishes in certain areas, almost none really. Even though I used it for several years and my acne got worse later, it wasn't because of this product. I actually loved it for its cool and refreshing feel. It gave a sort of sanitizing sensation? It even had an alcohol scent. I think it does have some disinfecting effect. When I was younger, I used only this and had very few blemishes, so it seemed fine. But later, as my skin changed, it became extremely dry. The alcohol scent also felt irritating, and applying it to wounds or blemishes was really painful... So I eventually switched to something else! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2020
I've gone through 3 bottles and I'm on my 4th now... I'm at an age where blemishes are common, so I bought this after seeing it on TV. It seems to have significantly reduced my acne. As others have mentioned, the alcohol content is quite strong... While it does help control oil, the downside is that it also strips away moisture. You really need to follow up with a toner and serum right after using this. Toner is the best. Blemishes disappear completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2020
As someone with super sensitive skin, I've tried almost every brand that's supposed to be good for it. But Biotherm's Pure.fect line has been the best match for me, and I've been using it consistently from my early 20s until now! I heard that Biotherm's Pure.fect line is no longer available at duty-free shops. It seems we can only buy it from department stores or online now... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2020
This is my holy grail product. It's so soothing and absolutely perfect for my super sensitive skin. It's such a shame that it seems hard to find. If this gets discontinued, I'll be back to wandering the skincare wilderness. I gently swipe it on with a cotton pad to refine my skin texture, then follow up with an emulsion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2020
This product seems really effective for managing small blemishes. It's a staple in my skincare routine! Just keep in mind that it might be a bit drying during winter months. The fragrance is quite strong, which might be a bit harsh for some. Be careful not to get it in your eyes or on any open wounds as it may cause a tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2020
I love how it feels like it's thoroughly removing impurities and debris. Even with my combination skin, it's amazing at calming blemishes. At first, the intense alcohol smell hit me as soon as I pumped it out, making it really tough to use on my face. I've gotten used to it now, though, so it's not as bad. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2020
As someone with frequent blemishes, I use this as a spot treatment. When I apply it after washing my face, it gives me a feeling of complete cleanliness! There's nothing particularly bad, but I don't feel like it penetrates deep into my skin. Still, I like it. - ed******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2020
Absorbs well: 4/5 Stickiness: 4/5 Application: 4/5 I've been using this for 3 years and my blemishes have decreased It stings on acne scars. It hurts if it gets in your eyes. Apply along your skin texture after dispensing onto cotton or your hands - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2020
Perfect as an exfoliating toner for summer. When I had red blemishes, I applied this along with the matching moisturizer from the same line before bed, and they disappeared by morning. The ingredients list is shocking... My mom said it stings her skin. - 88*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
It's perfect for maintaining balance on oily, sensitive skin. Rather than improving your skin, it helps prevent it from getting worse.
