First of all, I have atopic dermatitis. I've never had atopic dermatitis before, but the dermatologists all said the same thing... If I had known that Biotherm has 5 allergy-causing ingredients, I wouldn't have used it. I received it as a gift and just tried it once, but the next day, it started turning red and became a contact dermatitis, with blisters and itchiness, which has been very distressing. As my belly started to show, I became very concerned about how dry it was. However, you're supposed to start applying the product even before the belly starts showing. When applied, it spreads on smoothly and seems to have good absorption. But after a while, it would dry out again, so I ended up mixing it with oil and applying it diligently.
Cons
Even though I applied the product every day hoping to at least prevent stretch marks a little, I still ended up with some in the final month. I wonder if it would have been even worse if I hadn't applied anything at all?
Tip
The lower belly area is prone to stretch marks!! Make sure to apply the product concentrated on the lower belly area.

The spreadability and absorption were good. I also thought the scent was quite nice.
Cons
I have sensitive skin, but after applying this lotion and oil, my entire abdomen became inflamed... My abdomen where I applied the lotion turned bright red and became extremely itchy, like hives. I had to go to the hospital, get a prescription, and get treated... There were no such symptoms at all before using it, but after applying the medication, it got a bit better, so I tried the lotion again, and it immediately flared up again. I just used it because people said it was good... I should have checked the ingredients long ago before using it. I'm not sure about the effectiveness, as I only realized the harmful ingredients after using up the large size and getting itchy.
