I'm currently trying out several Paula's Choice toners. For my acne-prone combination or oily skin, using this toner after a slightly stronger cleanser gives a nice, balanced feeling. It seems to have good astringent properties, but I feel the hydration and nourishment from this toner alone might not be enough, so I'm layering a retinol serum on top. The red and blue-green toners didn't absorb well into my skin and felt like they were just sitting on the surface, but the green one suited me better. This time, I tried the Earth Sourced toner and found it absorbed the best, so I plan to stick with that one from now on. The packaging is better than other toners - it doesn't break easily and doesn't leak.
