It's great for calming redness when applied with a cotton pad and left on affected areas.

As it's an emulsion product, I'm not sure about its whitening capabilities. They say the whitening effect is better when used with the essence, but I couldn't really tell if there was any enhanced brightening effect.

I loved how moisturizing it was. I used it with the essence from the same line, and it filled in the hydration that the essence alone couldn't provide. When I applied it with a cotton pad on areas with redness, it quickly calmed down.
