It was matte and applied well, so I was somewhat satisfied with using it.

When I use this product after applying a slightly oily sunscreen, it doesn't feel heavy and applies thinly.

This is the only product I've been repurchasing and using since it was first released.

I've tried a few similar solid foundation dupes, but this one is the best. The color range is diverse, and the application and longevity are great. I recommend buying it online - it's cheaper than in-store.

The case is incredibly fragile and breaks easily. For the high price, they could at least make a sturdier case... It's way too delicate. The packaging quality is on par with drugstore products.

I usually go for a matte finish as dewy makeup doesn't suit me, but this powder foundation gives a soft, fluffy finish without needing additional powder. It didn't cause any breakouts and applies thinly despite being a solid formula. It's lightweight and easy to carry around.

 If it's too matte, you can dab it on with an air puff and it'll apply more dewy and moisturizing haha.

 There's a slight yellow tint haha. And if you make the base too matte, it can look cakey ㅜㅜ Not recommended for those who mix it. But it's great for applying on its own.

 This is a life-changing product haha. The ingredients are good and it's suitable for oily skin, with a nice matte finish. There's no darkening and the coverage is pretty good. Plus, it's easy to apply lightly.

It's important to make sure your skin is prepped and plump before applying this. Using a good skincare routine with a moisturizer and sunscreen is key, especially for dry skin types.
Since it's easy to just swipe and spread, this is a great option for busy days when you need quick, natural-looking coverage.

The main issue is that it doesn't have any SPF. I usually apply a lot of sunscreen, so it's been fine. 
When applying the full amount, it does tend to go on a bit thickly, but I'm not sure if it applies better with a sponge. 
The packaging is really flimsy - it fell once after about a week and the lid got cracked. The cheap packaging makes me worry it might get discontinued soon.

Since my skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts, I always carefully check the ingredients when buying skincare, sunscreen, or foundation. I never make impulsive purchases of skin products, regardless of whether they're drugstore or high-end.
I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and didn't find any concerning ones, and the store staff said they would refund it immediately if I had any issues. So I decided to give it a try, and it's been amazing - no breakouts and pretty good coverage too! It's become a holy grail product for me.

I mainly use this with a Penta-shaped sponge and a setting mist, but it applies nicely with just my fingers as well. Using your fingers may actually give you even better adhesion, but be careful not to rub it in too much or it can start to mix with your skincare products. The best technique is to gently dab and press it into the skin.

Although it's marketed as a concealer as well, the creamy and soft texture may not provide the thick coverage that some people who want a concealer-like effect might be looking for. However, I personally find that this 'solid stick foundation' gives a nicely buildable coverage without being too heavy on the skin.
I don't mean to say the coverage is lacking - it's just not as heavy-duty as a concealer in comparison.

This solid product glides on so smoothly and feels so soft and moisturizing! It's easy to use and portable, and I love the generous amount. The adhesion is excellent, and the pore coverage and lasting power are all very satisfactory.
While Bobbi Brown stick foundations are more well-known, I tried a sample of those and found this product to be much better. The price-to-volume ratio is a real win for Shu Uemura!

Draw two lines on the forehead, three lines on the cheeks, one line on the nose, and one line on the chin. Then, use a sponge to spread it out evenly. It's a 5-minute complete look!
The sponge from Shu Uemura is too expensive, but the 3,000 won one from The Face Shop is also good. It can't quite match the bouncy texture of the Shu Uemura sponge, but the affordable price makes it satisfactory.

The price-to-volume ratio is a bit low, and it gets used up fairly quickly. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it.

I'm a pore girl and a blemish girl haha. I used to apply thick makeup, which made my skin feel stuffy and awkward, so I opted for a light and natural makeup approach. Using Shu Uemura's Muse Mube helps cover my pores just right. Even without using Muse Mube, it still covers to some extent, and the coverage is decent, so I like it. It's easy to apply makeup and even easier to touch up. I'm on my 5th stick foundation. I've tried Benefit and Bobbi Brown, but this is the best! It matches East Asian skin tones well, isn't too matte, and feels just right to use.

When using this for makeup touch-ups, try spraying the makeup puff with a mist before applying the product. This will help it adhere better to the skin.
(It's best to use a new makeup puff each time you do a touch-up for hygienic reasons.)

Since it's a solid type, the application has a somewhat matte finish. Also, you can't apply it directly - you'll need to use a makeup puff to apply it.


This seems like a good product to use for makeup touch-ups. It's also convenient to carry around.
