I deducted one star because the ingredients are not entirely wholesome. While the usage experience is great, the ingredients could be better. And the squeaky clean feeling is perfect for me, but it might feel a bit drying or tight for some others.

The apple fragrance is lovely, and it's so refreshing to wash with. The abundant lather and the just-right squeaky clean feeling after washing suit me perfectly. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight, but provides a pleasant, refreshed sensation.

While the cleansing power is good, it also seems to cause some skin irritation. I've noticed my skin becoming reddish after cleansing, and a dry-skinned friend said it was quite irritating and lacked sufficient moisture.

The granular formulation seems to have contributed to its effective cleansing. After cleansing, my skin feels smooth and refreshed, as if it has returned to its natural state.

It's a shame that it's made in Japan, which is a concern. Also, after checking on Hwahae, the ingredients seem disappointing, so I gave it 4 stars.

This product is a perfect fit for my skin and does an excellent job of exfoliating. I only need to use it once every evening or every other day, which is just right. Highly recommended!

Some people apply it, brush their teeth, and then rinse it off - the lather doesn't drip down, so it's possible.
