I've used up a whole tube of this product. Application: Not great as you have to burst the beads and rub them in. Absorption: Average, hopefully the active ingredients are absorbed. Texture: Thick, feels like applying a silky primer when spread. Eye irritation: None. As mentioned above, having to burst the beads and rub them in puts too much stress on the delicate eye area, which deepened my eye wrinkles for the first time. The eye area is sensitive with very thin skin that shouldn't be rubbed. The oil-moisture balance is off, leaving a silky but dry feeling like a primer. Even if you rub the beads on your hand first, the thick formula is still too harsh for the eye area. This product doesn't consider the basic functions of an eye cream. The visible capsules that burst when applied give a satisfying feeling of enhanced absorption. Breaking these capsules feels too harsh around the eye area. I was surprised how quickly it dried out my skin. It might be better suited for improving wrinkles on nasolabial folds or other areas rather than around the eyes.
