This product is truly amazing. It's a lifesaver when your skin gets dry in winter, when you have folliculitis, or when your skin barrier is damaged. It works even better than panthenol-based medications. After two weeks of visiting pharmacies and hospitals with no results, this solved my problem in just two days. I really hope Olive Young starts stocking it everywhere! Can't use it in summer though. It gives too much of a 'glass skin' effect, almost like you've had a moisture injection. If you're not careful, it can leave your skin feeling a bit greasy. No need to layer on toner, essence, and ampoule. Just use toner followed by this lipid emulsion, and you're good to go. - ce******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2020
When my skin became extremely dry due to the heater, this product resolved the deep dryness that regular products couldn't fix. Even my sister, who has super sensitive skin and can't use just anything without breaking out, is using this well. It's a bit inconvenient that there's no English on the packaging, despite it being a German product. The product comes in different versions like 'Dry' and 'Very Dry', so you can keep one for when your skin is extremely dehydrated and another for when it's moderately dry. It seems to have good ingredients for the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2019
The hydration power is remarkable! My rough skin calmed down after just two days of consistent application. It's great for both kids and adults. It feels like an ointment but absorbs quickly, leaving your face with a nice glow. When applied in moderation, it doesn't feel greasy, which I love. It's perfect for dry skin and even helps with redness. A lot of product comes out when using it. The milky scent makes my child keep trying to eat it, haha! I pat it on my cheeks before going out in winter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2018
It's so rich that people with dry skin will likely love it While it's quite rich, I didn't see any dramatic effects on my dryness - le*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 11, 2018
I tried a sample and then bought it from the official website~ It's really gentle... Even when applied to my atopic, cosmetic-allergic, blemish-prone skin, it wasn't irritating and provided great hydration. I used it as a face cream all over (it's moisturizing and fresh - I applied it on my acne-prone forehead and it seemed to help clear up the acne), and like an eye cream on my dry eye and mouth areas~ It feels so rich and nourishing~ It's like you can feel your skin barrier being restored.. I even feel like it's taking care of the fine lines around my eyes~~ It's quite sticky and rich, so even for dry skin, it might be a bit much to apply all over the face on hot days.. Those with oily skin should avoid it~ And for combination skin types... it might be too shiny.. I'd recommend using small amounts on dry areas like I do.. For reference, my T-zone is oily, while the rest of my face is dry. - ma****Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 18, 2018
Highly recommended for extremely dry skin! I use a different line, but a friend who had laser treatment and their face was in bad shape tried this cream. They said it didn't make their face itchy and felt moisturizing. It's really rich, so when you apply it, it feels less like it's absorbing and more like you've had a hydrating injection. For combination skin, it's great to use in winter or as a night mask. The large size means you can use it all over your body too. The texture is thick and has a satisfying bounce to it. The scent isn't quite milk - it's more like milk with sugar sprinkled on top. Not the best... For those with dry skin, even after applying makeup, try patting a bit onto the back of your hands. It gives an effect similar to a hydrating injection! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2018
The hydration was the best feature! As someone with combination skin, my cheeks tend to be a bit dry, but after using this, the feeling of tightness definitely decreased! The absorption could have been a bit better, but it's not a major issue to be concerned about. For your face, just use a small amount and pat it on like you would a base product. This way, you can use it without any stickiness! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2017
I have extremely dry skin, and this is all I need in winter. While it doesn't glide on smoothly, once absorbed, it gives a natural glow. There's absolutely no tightness, and my skin feels comfortable all day long. It definitely doesn't absorb well, and the scent isn't great either, to be honest. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2016
I tried a sample of this product and I must say, it's incredibly bouncy and elastic. It's quite different from typical emulsions... It's closer to being really sticky and gooey! The texture is challenging to spread. You need to pat it in to help it absorb, but for my skin, it felt excessively rich. - dm*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2015
It helps calm down my redness. I don't usually exfoliate, so instead of removing dead skin cells, I try to soothe them. Mixing this with a drop of oil and applying it works wonders. The downside is that it's only available through international purchasing. The price is also a concern. I buy it through the app. Mixing it with a drop or two of oil and applying it like a nourishing pack at night really helps to soothe dead skin cells. For those struggling with redness or a burning sensation, it's great to mix it with refrigerated aloe gel. The gel absorbs quickly and provides a cooling, calming effect, while this cream prevents evaporation and locks in the soothing hydration. That's how I use it.
