  Pros

  As famous as it is, just applying it once before bed effectively smooths out severe dead skin cells. While one application might not seem effective, using it two or three times really makes the dead skin cells disappear.

  Cons

  I've seen many posts about how popular this product is, but has anyone experienced side effects from its ingredients? My skin was very flaky, so I opened this and applied it for the first time. On the first day, small red blemishes appeared on my lips. On the second day, thinking it was just acne, I ignored it and applied the product again before bed to calm the dead skin cells. The next day, which is today, my lips are swollen and in chaos. The area around the blemishes has puffed up like a balloon, feeling tight and very painful. After searching online, I found that some people occasionally have adverse reactions to the Uriage lip balm. Is everyone else using it without issues?

  The packaging is pretty. It's also a well-known product... However...

  Cons

  About 10 minutes after applying, I felt a burning sensation, but since it was on my lips, I didn't think there would be any blemishes and went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, my lips were extremely swollen and had something like blisters... After frantically searching online, I found that other people had similar symptoms after using this product... It's called contact cheilitis... I'm planning to go to the dermatologist tomorrow... Please be cautious when purchasing...

  Condition: My lips are chapped, flaky, and painfully cracked 365 days a year. I often neglect applying lip balm due to laziness, perpetuating the cycle. Effectiveness: When the pain becomes unbearable and I finally apply it, it provides immediate relief. However, the effect doesn't last long. Still, it's the least sticky and most versatile option.

  Cons

  I was shocked by how expensive it is in Korea compared to when I bought it as a bargain at a Paris pharmacy. I've been using it fairly well until now, but I was stunned again when I checked the ingredients. It can cause blemishes and allergic reactions... My child has been using it consistently too. We'll have to stop using it now.

  I bought this product because the one I was using before didn't suit me. I'm a big fan of Uriage, so I trusted the brand and made the purchase. The scent is somewhat floral? It's not overwhelmingly strong, but on days when I'm feeling sensitive or not at my best, the fragrance might be noticeable enough to cause a slight headache. It's similar to the blue lip balm I used to use, with the main difference being the added scent.

  Cons

  Since using this, my blemishes have gotten worse. After stopping the blue one, my acne had improved, but now it's back and showing no signs of getting better... The lip balm's scent can feel a bit strong when applied at night. Rather than being a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance, I think most people would probably dislike it.

  Provides decent lip hydration without adding color. Although it can feel a bit heavy, I don't consider it a waste. I use it by applying, wiping off, and reapplying later. It's nice that it absorbs naturally into the skin.

  Cons

  Those with sensitive skin might experience blemishes around the mouth area. If you suddenly develop blemishes, it's worth considering this as a potential cause. It can feel uncomfortable in warmer weather. There isn't a significant difference between this and cheaper options like Nivea or other lip balms, so it takes quite a while to use up when competing with sale items I've stocked up on.

  Matte lips are still trendy, and I was looking for a clear lip balm to apply before lipstick since I use it often. I ended up buying this on a friend's recommendation. First off, I love that it's truly colorless - it doesn't turn white even if you apply a lot. The hydration lasts long and keeps lips moisturized. Once applied, it stays oily and moist for hours unless you wipe it off.

  I get blemishes around my mouth when I use this. I think it might be because it's so rich - I started getting pimples on my philtrum and chin. At first, I thought, 'No way could a lip balm cause breakouts there,' but it kept happening every time I used it. When I stopped, my skin cleared up. It's similar to when I applied eye cream on my laugh lines and around my eyes - I got blemishes on my eyelids and philtrum/chin area. It seems the oil content is too high for me. While it's great for hydration, this product just doesn't suit my skin.

  I love how it keeps my skin hydrated for a long time. It's also more affordable if you buy it directly from overseas.

  Cons

  If you apply it beyond your lip line and get saliva on it, it thickens and causes blemishes that look like blisters. Make sure to use it strictly on your lip line only.

  I've tried countless lip balms in my life - Burt's Bees, Kiehl's, Bioderma, Carmex, L'Occitane, Benefit's Benebalm, Fresh Sugar, and more. But the absolute best among them all has been Uriage! To break it down specifically: Burt's Bees and Bioderma: Nice scent, but not intensely hydrating Kiehl's: Too runny and shiny, which can be overwhelming Carmex: The fragrance is overpowering Benefit's Benebalm and Fresh Sugar: Being tinted products, their moisturizing effect is somewhat compromised L'Occitane: Good hydration, but the price isn't exactly wallet-friendly Uriage is a game-changer! When I apply it generously before bed, my lips are incredibly moisturized in the morning. It works wonders when you feel your lips starting to crack - just one application and the effect is amazing!

  As someone with extremely oily skin, I noticed that the shea butter in this product occasionally caused tiny blemishes to appear at the corners of my mouth.

  Tip

  For a beautiful lip look, try applying this as a base before your makeup routine, then gently wiping off the excess before applying lipstick!

  I bought this product at Olive Young because it was popular, but it didn't suit me at all. I can't find any positives about it.

  Cons

  The hydration and staying power are poor. My lips feel dry again just minutes after application. What's worse, I developed blemishes on my lips after using it. This is by far the worst lip balm I've ever used.
