I actually didn't purchase the full-size product. I received a sample from Olive Young or Lotte, and I just used it without knowing anything about the product. I applied it generously like a moisturizer. At first, it felt good, but this morning when I applied it, it stung. In the evening, after washing my face, I noticed I had developed a lot of small pimples. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I just applied it generously again, and as soon as I put it on, it stung so much that I couldn't bear it. I immediately washed it off, but my face is still very red and stinging... I had just recovered from some kind of skin irritation, and now this has happened, and I'm so frustrated. I quickly checked Hwahae, and it turns out this product has been discontinued and is meant to be used only thinly and spot-treated for acne, not all over the face.

There was no additional acne development. The skin tone seems to have improved a bit. The small pimple-sized ones were effective.
Cons
It was not effective for cystic acne and scarring. Stinging.
Tip
I would recommend it for small acne concerns. However, for cystic acne and scarring, it felt like a waste of money. This is my personal opinion!
