If you just wash with a regular cleanser without using this, your pores get clogged and you end up with breakouts.
While it may cause some irritation for sensitive skin types due to the exfoliating beads, gently massaging and rinsing it off leaves your skin hydrated and with a subtle glow.

I use this lightly about 2 times a week in the morning, and do a deeper cleansing about once a week.

But then again, that same advantage of the beads not dissolving could also be a disadvantage if it's too irritating. In that case, I can just use it for a shorter amount of time.

This morning-use exfoliator has little beads in it, and the beads don't dissolve! This can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, in my opinion. With other products, the exfoliating beads disappear when you try to exfoliate, but this one's beads don't dissolve, so I'm satisfied with that.

First, roll it on the nose and T-zone area, then use the remaining amount to gently massage the entire face for maximum effect with a small amount.

First, there's a bit of oiliness in the morning, but water cleansing alone is not enough, and foam cleansers feel a bit excessive. This product, however, removes the built-up dead skin overnight and the ingredients are gentle, so it's completely fine for sensitive skin.

I stopped using it after purchasing it. It seems like the ingredients are mislabeled here. There's polyethylene in it, which is a major culprit of microplastic pollution....
And it doesn't really remove dead skin cells. There are only occasional scrub particles, so it's more of a gentle skin stimulation effect rather than an effective scrubbing action, like a light massage in the morning.

The fragrance and feel are great. Sisley is indeed a pleasure to use - it's not drying at all.
