However, this is likely because the previous Energizing Tonic and Energizing Moisture Treatment were so disappointing, making this seem less noticeable by comparison.

Despite the intense sensorial experience of the skin and moisturizer, the product felt surprisingly mild (relatively) and gentle.
There was no oily or greasy feeling when applied to the face, but it didn't provide a deeply hydrating sensation either.
Looking at the formula, it has a ratio of 3 parts light texture to 7 parts rich texture, yet it manages to avoid feeling heavy or greasy, which I consider a positive attribute.
I also felt that the product's balanced oil-water ratio nourished the skin, which I would describe as a 'heavy lifting' effect.
