It has a lovely fragrance, feels moisturizing, and doesn't dry out the skin. I'd recommend it solely as a gift. To be honest, there are many cost-effective soaps out there for handwashing. This price for this amount isn't particularly impressive. The fragrance is lovely and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. The packaging is refreshingly clean and sleek. It doesn't produce a rich lather, which is a bit disappointing.

There's also a hint of mint, making it not just tangy but cool and invigorating. It reminded me of L'Occitane's 'Verbena' scent, but while L'Occitane's version is purely zesty and mood-lifting, Kiehl's has a touch of bitterness that gives it a more mature feel. If you enjoy L'Occitane's Verbena, you'll likely appreciate this too. Packaging: It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a twist cap, similar to body emulsions. This makes it convenient for travel. The pump is also sturdy and works well. Usage: A little goes a long way. I usually use less than a fingertip's worth, or just a fingertip's worth when my hands are particularly greasy or dirty. It lathers well and cleanses effectively. I found it's better to wash multiple times with a small amount rather than using a large amount at once, as this helps prevent dryness. The lather is moderate, and it leaves hands feeling clean without being overly drying. Unlike some cleansers that feel endlessly slippery and make you wonder if you've rinsed properly, this one rinses clean easily. While the scent isn't overpowering, you can still catch a subtle whiff on your hands for a while after washing. Price: It's extremely expensive compared to other hand soaps. I received this as a gift, but I would never buy it with my own money. The price seems to be purely for the brand name. Ingredients: Disappointingly poor. It's shocking that such an expensive product from a well-known brand has a formulation that seems worse than common supermarket soaps. Even though hand washing is brief, a premium brand charging premium prices should offer a superior formulation. Scent: While I personally don't mind the fragrance, many people who've visited my home have commented that it smells like lemon-scented dish soap. Honestly, I have to agree that it's more reminiscent of dish soap than the sophisticated verbena scent it's supposed to be. For a brand like Kiehl's, you'd expect a more refined, unique fragrance. In comparison, even though Jo Malone is also expensive, their fragrances, even simple ones like peach, have a distinctly high-quality feel that justifies the price. The pump dispenser makes it easy for anyone, regardless of age or gender, to use conveniently! It leaves hands extremely dry after use, so a hand cream is absolutely essential!

And it's not just a simple grapefruit scent - there's a touch of chamomile too, which makes it smell so much more luxurious! The packaging is also beautiful, making it perfect for a housewarming gift! The only downside might be that the volume seems a bit small for the price. I think buying a large refill size could make it more cost-effective.
