While fragrances are generally okay in rinse-off products, I heard from my hairstylist that silicone ingredients like dimethicone, though they make hair feel smooth initially, don't actually nourish the hair like proteins or oils. With prolonged use, silicone can build up on damaged hair, making it worse over time. This product uses natural oils, so I feel reassured! Also, after rinsing, if products with harsh ingredients touch your back or neck, they can cause bacne. Even though we don't directly apply conditioner to the scalp, contact with products containing irritating ingredients can worsen scalp issues or skin conditions like psoriasis. Being a natural product, this one gives me peace of mind, and I didn't experience any blemishes! Another great point is its 5.5 pH level! Just like for skin, a slightly acidic pH is less irritating for hair and helps prevent damage. Since I have an oily scalp, I often use clarifying shampoos, so an acidic conditioner helps balance things out. Considering the quality ingredients and quantity, the price is quite reasonable! I loved the fresh lemon scent, and it didn't leave my hair feeling overly rich after use. This isn't really a drawback, but since it's mostly natural ingredients, don't expect dramatic results. It might be slightly disappointing for bleached or severely damaged hair. Also, the scent doesn't linger for long. But for normal hair, these aren't major issues. Since natural oils are the main ingredients, you can use it as a hair mask by applying it and leaving it on for a bit before rinsing. Although it's been discontinued, you can still find it online!

It's different from treatments containing silicone. The scent is a blend of lemon and ginger! I initially disliked it because I'm not fond of ginger, but the ginger isn't overpowering. It's mixed with lemon, and after using it a few times, I found it quite pleasant. Keep in mind, it's not a bright, zesty lemon scent. I recommend alternating this with other treatments or hair masks that provide richer nourishment.
