The cleansing effectiveness is not bad at all. I enjoy using it because I prefer a rich texture. While heavy textures can sometimes cause blemishes, this one doesn't if you emulsify it well. You need to be thorough with the emulsification process. It doesn't emulsify as easily as other cleansing oils I've used before. I didn't see any effects on blackheads or whiteheads. This cleansing oil has a substantial feel that I appreciate. It cleanses well without irritating my skin, as long as you take the time to emulsify it properly. However, it requires more effort to work into the skin compared to other cleansing oils, and I didn't notice any improvement in my pores.
