Personally, I didn't experience any itching or tingling, and it felt less irritating than other products I've used before. When removing it with a sponge, it felt much gentler than using a spatula. The post-depilatory balm contains ingredients like sunflower seed oil and cocoa butter, which are effective for moisturizing, nourishing, and soothing. When applied to dried skin after hair removal, it made my skin feel even smoother! The scent is reminiscent of rosehip oil mixed with a hint of perm solution. It's not overpowering, so it wasn't unpleasant. After applying the post-depilatory balm, there was a slight burning sensation for about 20-30 minutes, but it did have a cooling effect. It felt like it was calming the irritated skin. The post-depilatory balm has a balm-like texture, so it took a little time to absorb. Nevertheless, it seems to work well when used together with the hair removal cream. For those with super sensitive skin, I strongly recommend testing on a small area first before full application. - ta****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 5, 2019 (UTC+0)
The fact that you don't need a razor and the smell isn't as strong as I expected are somewhat positive points. While it doesn't remove hair from the roots, it does leave the skin feeling smooth enough to call it hair removal. I have super sensitive skin, so I bought this because it was supposed to be the least irritating option. However, as soon as I applied the cream, it stung terribly. Following the instructions, I washed, dried, applied the cream to my limbs, and stood stiffly like a robot for about 10 minutes. The areas where I didn't apply enough cream and it absorbed quickly didn't remove much hair. (For reference, my body hair is of average thickness.) They say you can rinse it off with water, but that doesn't work well. You need to scrub vigorously with the included sponge. Even after rinsing with water, a slippery feeling remained, so I had to shower again. It still felt slick afterward. As I'm sitting here now, it's so irritating that I had to apply an emulsion. The hair has curled up short, like an uneven shave with a razor... It seems like you need to use it multiple times, but I'm not sure I can handle this level of discomfort again. I strongly advise those with sensitive skin to absolutely avoid using this product. If you do use it, apply the cream generously - to the point where you might wonder if you're overdoing it. Adopt the mindset of 'I am a snowman, and I will become an even bigger snowman' and slather it on. If any areas absorb the cream before the time is up, I recommend reapplying to those spots.
