The Hwahae Testers review! For reference: Sensitive, blemish-prone, combination dehydrated skin with redness. I usually exfoliate once or twice every two weeks! Though summer doesn't bring as much dead skin, I still use mud masks regularly for skin texture. Here are the mud masks I've tried: (Since this is subjective, I'll compare it to other brands!) *Innisfree (Volcanic Pore) *Innisfree (Super Volcanic Pore 2X) *Cham Joeun Mud Pack Usage Experience: For a mud mask, it's remarkably gentle. The ingredients are excellent, with no concerning components. It's so non-irritating that even those with sensitive skin can use it worry-free. Apply the mud mask generously, as a thin layer might cause intense tightness. The texture is similar to Innisfree's Super Volcanic mask! However, instead of drying to a hard, clay-like finish, it dries to a soft, pliable mask texture. This seems intentional to minimize irritation. In fact, the thicker areas could be peeled off by hand when removing! Scent and Quantity: I never expected a mud and tea tree combination! As a tea tree product fan, I was really excited about this aspect! You can definitely feel the high tea tree content. The scent is strong and might be a bit intense for some. The 110ml size is satisfying! With weekly use, it should last a good 3 months. Blemishes & Skin Texture: I wondered if the gentle ingredients would still provide the full mud mask effect, but it definitely maintains the benefits while being kind to skin! It noticeably improved skin texture and helped calm blemishes and dead skin cells.
Tea Tree Oil: This isn't necessarily a downside, but those sensitive to tea tree oil might want to reduce usage frequency. If tea tree doesn't agree with your skin, you might experience a burning sensation or redness! Other than that, I didn't find any real drawbacks!
Compared to Innisfree and Cham Joeun mud masks, this one is much gentler while offering similar effects. If tea tree products work well for you, this could also be great as a soothing mask! Recommended for: Those who want to try a gentle mud mask People who respond well to tea tree oil
