Allergic reaction - My skin turns red after washing with soap. Given my skin type, it usually subsides after half a day. As summer approaches, the heavy scent makes it hard to recommend. The best solution is to discard it. I bought it as a set with the emulsion, but the emulsion feels a bit heavy so I don't use it often. It's nice to finish off with just the toner and serum before bed.
