Pros: The color was beautiful. I was looking for a matte texture in the same shade as my Espoir cushion, and this had an elegant ivory-toned color. As someone with oily, blemish-prone skin, even with no makeup and a mask on, I get blemishes after two hours. I try to wear makeup only on important days, so I might not reach for this often. There are so many similar and good foundations out there. A YouTuber with acne said it covers pores better than my current favorite Estée Lauder foundation (which costs around $140), so I bought it overseas. But even after applying a hydrating base and filling in pores well, it clings so tightly that it actually accentuates pores and wrinkles. Use a hydrating base to keep your skin moisturized, and apply with a spatula for best results. If you don't have a spatula, apply it using YouTuber Uturu's Double Wear foundation application method.

While it's not quite all-day, it lasts for about 7-8 hours without significant breakdown. Even when it does start to fade, it does so rather gracefully. Despite being matte, it's surprisingly not as drying as you might expect. Personally, I find its staying power to be better than the Estee Lauder matte foundation. It sets quickly, so if you apply it all over your face at once, it doesn't spread evenly. For best results, use a damp foundation brush (slightly moistened and squeezed like a sponge) to thinly apply the product in sections. Then, use a dry sponge to gently pat from the center outwards to set it. Finish by lightly dusting powder only on the T-zone. This method helps the makeup last longer.
