While it may appear similar to olive, it has a different pearl texture and exudes a more sophisticated vibe. The 'Elephant' color case describes it as a 'shimmering taupe grey'. Being talc-free, it's gentle on sensitive eyes even after hours of wear. It blends beautifully with other colors, creating a stunning pigmentation. What's more, using Chantecaille products contributes to endangered animal conservation, which makes me feel good about my purchase. The high price point is a bit of a drawback. It would be nice if there were discounts for purchasing multiple colors. Personally, I've been using it well with the 'Cheetah' color - they make a beautiful combination. Elephant The gray-taupe base with silver + gold + green pearls shimmers quite glamorously, giving it a truly luxurious feel. Since it's a fall release, the color has a deep, alluring quality. Just imagine throwing on a trench coat with this as your only eye makeup - instant style icon! What's really mind-blowing is the texture. It's described as a gel-powder formula, but despite being a powder, it feels incredibly creamy! Even with all the pearls, there's zero grittiness, and it adheres so well to the skin that it doesn't crease at all. This has to be the highest quality eyeshadow I've ever used. Considering the price, the packaging isn't particularly luxurious. It's a metal case with a rubber-coated sticker that reminds me of a refrigerator magnet. The base color is quite intense, so applying it with your fingers might result in a heavy, unnatural look. For the prettiest, most translucent application that avoids any chalkiness, I recommend using a brush to lightly sweep it on.
