It absorbs well and seems to improve skin texture. Using it after cleansing appears to help with makeup application too... maybe? I always use this product for exfoliation. Especially in summer, I can't live without it! When it's hot, I keep it in the fridge and use it like a toner pack right after taking it out. It helps minimize pores and uneven texture. If you follow up with a light emulsion, it keeps excess oil at bay for up to 6 hours instead of the usual 3. The quantity is great for the price too - definitely good value for money. It can be quite intense on the skin. I remember being shocked when I first used it, wondering if something was wrong. The tingling sensation is there, but it subsides quickly. However, I'm a bit wary of using it before makeup, so I only apply it in the evening. While it's recommended to use as an exfoliating toner, if you can handle the intensity like me, try using it as a cooling toner pack.
