As someone who regularly uses Kim Jung Moon Aloe products, I was excited to find this at Daiso and decided to give it a try. The texture wasn't quite the aloe soothing gel I expected, but it absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky. It's perfect for layering with other skincare products. Looking at the ingredients, I was pleased to see aloe vera leaf water at 84% right at the top of the list. This suggests it's great for calming the skin and reducing redness. While it's nearly fragrance-free, there's a slight odd scent that's a bit off-putting. Given its aloe soothing gel-like consistency, I think a pump bottle or tube packaging would work better than the current container. - ja***********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessMay 19, 2025
A runny sensation... Applying it makes the skin feel smooth and soft... Plentiful amount, so it's great to slather on generously It doesn't seem very moisturizing... And the formula is like runny mucus, plus the container is just a regular water toner bottle, so it's inconvenient... - ge****************************Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedApr 12, 2025
I bought this because my skin has been extremely dehydrated lately. Despite its runny texture, this toner wasn't as heavy as I expected. My forehead was particularly dry, so I applied two layers, and it absorbed well without feeling sticky or pilling. It seems to work well for deep dryness. There's nothing particularly bad, but the container is a bit inconvenient, and it absorbed faster than I expected. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 10, 2025
This product has a gel-like texture with a nice consistency. I'd recommend the Daiso Jung Mun Aloe Cure Alpha product for all skin types except dry skin, and it's especially great for teenagers. As someone with dry skin, I usually layer toners or serums 2-3 times. However, with this product, applying more than one layer can make it feel sticky and cause pilling, so it's best to stick to just one layer. It was too drying for me, but I think it could work well for those with combination dehydrated skin during summer as a light moisturizer. From my experience, most Daiso skincare products tend to be drying, but this one felt relatively more hydrating compared to others. It finishes with a matte, powdery feel, so people who don't typically experience dryness might find it suitable. However, for those with very dry or dry skin, I'd recommend using a product with more oil content. Daiso products seem appropriate for teenagers, but for those in their 30s and above who need more hydration and nourishment, I personally wouldn't recommend Daiso skincare products. - bb*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsApr 6, 2025
My skin suffers from severe deep dryness. When I apply this, instead of feeling moisturized, it quickly dries out. Even with reapplication, my skin remained constantly dry. It's exactly like a more watered-down version of aloe soothing cream. This seems more suitable for those with oily skin rather than people with dry skin or severe deep dryness. For me, it was far too drying. - km****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 1, 2025
This seems perfect for combination dehydrated skin or those with a mixed skin type. The texture is initially like a runny gel, but it transforms into a water-like consistency as soon as it touches your skin, absorbing instantly. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin. Unfortunately, it falls short on hydration. It's more of a skin texture refiner than a true moisturizer, which is a bit disappointing. - tn*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2025
As someone with dry, allergy-prone skin, aloe has always been my go-to. When I heard about this Daiso collaboration with Kim Jung Moon Aloe, I had to try it out. Application: It's not a watery toner, but feels more like an ampoule toner that really fills your skin with hydration. Absorption: It absorbs incredibly well. I do the 3-skin method, and it only takes about 3 minutes to pat it in completely. It doesn't leave any residue before makeup, helps combat deep dryness, and leaves my skin feeling comfortable. I've been using it all winter with great results. I can't really think of any downsides. I tried putting it in a spray bottle to use as a mist, but it's too thick and comes out like llama spit. It's kind of funny, but I don't want to waste it, so I'm still getting 'spit on' regularly. - 20********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 15, 2025
It absorbs well, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth after application. The texture is not watery, but rather a slightly sticky toner. The opaque bottle makes it hard to see how much is left without shaking it. The scent is not great. Unlike regular toners, you have to squeeze this one out when using it. - ma***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2025
I just bought and tried this new product today, and it's really great! The texture is like an aloe gel cream with a slightly runny consistency. I have sensitive, dry skin and a history of atopy, so I'm usually picky about what I put on my skin. But when I applied this, there was no stinging at all, and my skin felt comfortable! The scent is almost fragrance-free, but if you're sensitive to smells, you might detect a very faint gel-like scent. Honestly, it doesn't absorb super quickly, but I bought it to use as a mask-like treatment. I soak a cotton pad generously and leave it on like a pack before applying my ampoule cream. Recently, Daiso has been expanding their cosmetics line, but I usually just window-shop because their products often contain irritating ingredients like fragrances or PEG-60. I was surprised to see that Daiso now offers products with clean and safe ingredients! At 5000 won for 200ml, it's great value for money. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it, I'm pleased that it doesn't cause any discomfort on my skin. That's its biggest advantage! The hydration level might not be high enough for winter use, and it lacks oil content. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely need to follow up with an ampoule cream. So it's not a highly moisturizing product. The ingredients include niacinamide for brightening, adenosine for wrinkle prevention, centella asiatica extract and ceramide NP for skin healing, and houttuynia cordata extract for acne treatment. While you can use it normally, I recommend applying it generously on a cotton pad as a mask for better results! - a6*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
It's called a toner, but it's basically just aloe gel! No irritating ingredients for sensitive skin, and it's absolutely fantastic. I wanted to transfer it to a spray bottle for easier application, but the texture doesn't allow for that, which is a bit disappointing.
