It's non-irritating. The pad surface is soft, so it doesn't hurt and feels great on the skin. It's a bit pricey. I use it up faster than expected, and some people occasionally experience a tingling sensation (my sister mentioned this). The amount of essence is incredibly generous. That's why when I use it for a toner pad mask, it doesn't dry out even when left on for a long time. After wiping it off, there's a subtle glow and my skin feels plump and firm. It claims to have brightening effects from tangerine extract, but maybe because my skin is naturally yellowish? The effects are minimal. Although I don't use it daily, when I occasionally wipe with the toner pads, my face feels refreshed. Also, the tweezers... sigh, they fall off every time I close the lid. Another point, not really a downside, is that the pads are so thin that sometimes it's hard to tell if I've picked up one or two (I guess that's a good thing?). I'm on my third container now. Before using the pads, if you press them firmly with the tweezers, the essence rises all the way up to the top pads. This way, you can use every last pad without leaving any essence behind. For my second container, I got lazy and didn't press them, but then I had so much essence left over at the end, which was such a waste.
