Recently, I ran out of my usual shampoo and decided to use this one I had lying around. Wow, it really leaves my hair feeling fresh! I've been doing less scalp scaling since I started using it. It has great cleansing effectiveness and my hair doesn't get greasy as quickly. The hairdresser mentioned increased static, but I haven't really noticed it much, maybe because summer's coming...😅 While I thought the cleansing effectiveness was good, I'm disappointed with the ingredients... I'd like to keep using it, but because of the ingredients, I might have to consider other shampoos...😢 - se*************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedApr 19, 2022 (UTC+0)
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning to give it a go. I'll update my review after I've used it. It causes blemishes, and while it feels refreshing when washing off, my skin feels tight after a while and dead skin cells start to appear.
ys******Dry SkinAcneDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 11, 2022 (UTC+0)After using this, my dandruff has significantly decreased! It seems to be quite effective. It feels refreshing on the scalp. For my dry skin, it's not moisturizing enough and leaves my scalp feeling flaky, so it doesn't really suit me. I think it would be great for those with oily skin. The anti-dandruff effect is good though! - iz****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedSep 6, 2021 (UTC+0)
It has a lovely citrus scent! Just a heads up for those considering buying. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent! If you dislike that slippery feeling after shampooing, this might be perfect for you. It's particularly suitable for those with oily hair types. A conditioner is absolutely essential after using this! Your hair can become quite stiff. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in reducing dandruff, but there is a slight cooling effect. I wouldn't recommend this for those specifically looking for a cooling shampoo. - cv*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcneSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 30, 2021 (UTC+0)
I decided to try this since I had it at home, and I really love the shampoo's fragrance. After washing my hair, my scalp feels refreshingly cool and invigorated. I've also noticed less itching. As someone with an oily scalp, I found that this product didn't quite suit me after using it for a while. - vm********Dehydrated SkinAcneSebum/BlackheadsJan 29, 2021 (UTC+0)
Scalp (dry / dandruff / short hair) 1. It lathers extremely well. Just a little rubbing with your hands produces a great amount of foam, which is fantastic. 2. The cooling effect is quite intense. It's so refreshing that it can even cause a slight burning sensation. 3. The price is very affordable. 1. The cooling effect is so strong that if you don't rinse your hair thoroughly, the lingering sensation on your scalp can lead to a burning feeling. 2. The cooling effect is so potent that it affects your hands too. It's essential to wash your hands after shampooing. 3. It doesn't effectively eliminate dandruff. I used it for the cooling effect, but when I checked on Hwahae, I found it contains many harmful substances and potential allergens. If you're not specifically looking for a cooling effect, it might be best to avoid this product. - km****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedSep 11, 2020 (UTC+0)
Hello there! This is SoBeauty speaking. I actually have 'seborrheic dermatitis', so when I'm stressed or especially during seasonal changes, my scalp gets itchy and flaky with white patches like dandruff. If the flakes fall off, it can ooze and in severe cases, even bleed, leaving red exposed skin. It's usually fine (oily scalp), but inflammation occurs during stress, seasonal changes, when using incompatible products, or after coloring or perming. I used to use the light green Derma&More shampoo before it was reformulated, but it was discontinued after the relaunch. So after looking around, I decided to try this shampoo! To cut to the chase, I'm planning to stick with this one! Honestly, it's not as good as the product I used before. It's such a shame! Still, I'm grateful and using it because it doesn't cause separate flaking on my head or oozing. The texture is closer to a gel than a cream! It lathers well, but not as much as the one I used before. There's a faint scent, but it's unscented after rinsing! My hair feels refreshed after washing, so I think it has good cleansing effectiveness. Despite being called a cooling shampoo, it doesn't have much of a cooling effect. If we consider the cooling effect of a typical cooling shampoo as 100, this one would be about 50. So I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a really cool sensation! Overall, I hope they'll bring back the pre-reformulation shampoo because it was so good. Still, I'm satisfied enough with this shampoo to use it until then. You can often find buy-one-get-one-free deals at large supermarkets, and when purchasing online, you can buy it for between 5000 and 7000 won.
sa*******Oily SkinAcneSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 25, 2020 (UTC+0)It seems like it could be effective for dandruff. It has a somewhat medicinal feel to it. Among the anti-dandruff shampoos I've tried, this one is the most potent. I had high hopes because it contains natural surfactants, fruit-derived AHA to remove dead skin cells, and tea tree leaf oil to soothe an itchy scalp. However, being an anti-dandruff shampoo, it's quite harsh. My scalp and hair immediately became dry and brittle. The much-anticipated AHA ingredient, which was supposed to exfoliate, hasn't shown any significant effects yet. I don't really feel the cooling sensation either. I bought it after seeing some reviews praising its lather, but it's more like 'it lathers' rather than 'it lathers well'. On a scale of high, medium, low, I'd rate it medium-low. Crucially, it claims to be '9 Free', but when I checked the Hwahae app... sure enough, it contains everything. Still, since good ingredients don't always mean they're good for the scalp, this one is okay for me. It's best to use it only on the scalp as much as possible. It makes your hair texture dry and rough. - ki*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneJun 10, 2020 (UTC+0)
First off, my scalp is oily and prone to dandruff due to dead skin cells! Apart from the cooling effect and a slight reduction in dandruff, I didn't notice much else. My hair texture significantly worsened while using this... Without applying essence, my hair became stiff and difficult to comb through, regardless of the brush I used. The lather wasn't particularly impressive either. - ki**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedApr 17, 2020 (UTC+0)
It lathers up well and leaves a cool sensation after washing your hair, which is nice. The cleansing effectiveness is good, and I used it mainly for its ability to control odor and oiliness - I'm quite satisfied with the results! I didn't really find any drawbacks while using it. The quality matches the price point perfectly.
